I saw this thread a little while back and thought "Well none of my nests are hatching today, so I won't look" rng had other plans, and gave me an arcane egg [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=35347723] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/353478/35347723_350.png[/img] [/url] i dont know whether shell be treated as a blessing because this is the first egg my clan found and its an arcane eclipse baby, or a curse because its the first egg my clan found and its an arcane eclipse baby ill think about it later, in the meantime im gonna see if rng will still like me after this

They'd be curious because one of their greatest leaders (among two) was hatched during a fr eclipse (I made a fr world eclipse for one of my leaders so she could be named Eclipse to match my username). The egg I hatched actually has a chance of being seen as mysterious and potentially a bad omen (he has scries in his bio, but I definitely want him to have opal for the lore). It looks like the "dying" sun was absorbed deep into his core, only visible through his eyes at first, but with time his scales flaked away to reveal the glimmer of light underneath. Just a theory on what they'll think of this bab, but it could vary greatly by the next eclipse to hit my home (2024 here I come~!).

She spoke a prophecy, the first Vokun has gotten in fifty years. She declared that a child with scales black and Runes white would enter Vokun by chance. That child would bring with it destruction and chaos and eventually the fall of our empire. It would start small, but we'd eventually not be able to stand any more. We would have killed her if Sebastian wouldn't have intervened. The two of them will be mated. (On an off note, Sebastian and Isabelle make terrific ace pride dergs.)

once i get it finished, my clan lore is going to be somewhat based off of the sun and moon and such, so i think the eclipse kids that i'm gonna buy soon are definitely gonna be quite special

If you look into Shi's eyes, you're doomed. They were given the power to blind anyone who looks into his eyes, so I wouldn't recommend it. One of my dragons found this out the hard way. Luckily she didn't get blinded, just a discoloration in the eyes. Don't know how I'm going to incorporate his colors in his lore or if I'm even going to worry about it or not, but I'll get it figured out.

I got one eclipse baby who needs to be made a perma baby. My clan is a bit wary around him except for my more magically in tuned dragons. It seems with him around their magical abilities heighten even though he basically bumbles around with his pearl (which eerily glows when there is no moon in the sky)

My Clan Leaders accept and will raise these two Eclipse youngsters as their own. I haven't decided yet if they will have special powers. Names could change too. The clan loves the Eclipse baby I bought yesterday, he is already proving to have strong magical abilities from birthing while the sun and moon were together. And he's super cute.
