[nextcol][center][emoji=rose]The Forest is a mysterious yet beautiful place. In the middle of the Shrieking Wilds, the dense jungle overgrowth turns into something more deciduous. The earth is damp and fertile, mushrooms and herbs growing everywhere along with flowers. Ferns and moss are accompanied by tree roots. The landscape flows into gently sloping hills.
As one approaches the forest, all birdsong and sounds of wildlife cease, and the air becomes still. The sudden change from jungle to deciduous forest is confusing. Far away, deep within the misplaced forest, one can hear beautiful birdsong, along with faint windchimes and flutes. It feels like a dream. It is beckoning and frightening all at once.
If one is lucky, and does not seem like a threat, then they are welcome. And if not, well, the Dryads and many other faeries will destroy the threat.
Petra and Theros made an alliance will the Fair Folk, particularly the Dryads in the forest, and were allowed to stay. Soon enough, more dragons began to wander into the forest as well, and the ruling Fair Folk determined if these dragons were allowed to stay.
The dragons of the forest must, without question, obey the Fair Folk. Petra and Theros may have leadership over the dragons, but they have no rule over the forest. Dragons are not to interact with fae unless approached first, and will surely be destroyed if they show any disrespect. The Fair Folk have different morals than dragonkind, and they rarely care what becomes of any dragon.

Some are small enough for a Fae, and some are towering and fit for an Imperial. This area is bustling with life, and there is a large, towering and thick tree in the center of the heart, and below it are the nesting grounds.

The meadow is the only part of the forest that isn't covered with trees. The meadow is near the heart, in a small valley amongst the sloping, hilly landscape. It is here that hundreds of different wildflowers bloom and wheat grass grows tall. Many species of butterflies and bees are active year-round. It is a wonderful place to find aromatic/herbal flowers.

The grove is beautiful and lush, full of mushrooms, ferns, and many medicinal herbs. The trees are more spaced out, making the forest floor an entire bed of moss. This area is where most of the foraging is done, and it is a very quiet, peaceful place to live.
