He was part of a team of scientists doing research on alien life that potentially inhabited a strange irritated meteor-spaceship that recently crashed in the Starfall Isles. However, after prolonged exposure to the spaceship’s radiation and biohazards, he began to mutate. He grew a wormy appendage from his head that slowly ate into his body and mind. His body mutated, growing extra broken limbs that he had no control of. Tommy lost most of his cognitive functions and fine motor skills, such as his ability to read and write. He had to quit his job, especially due to the infection’s nastier side effects. Soon he developed an uncontrollable urge to feast on live flesh… Seeing Tommy’s change, the other scientists captured him to perform various experiments, hoping to slow his infection. It was awful, but he managed to escape, hoping he could find an actual cure so he could do the things he once could. Yet paradoxically, if you were to tell him he’s sick, he’ll fervently deny this, saying there’s nothing wrong with him. He’s extremely protective of the wormy appendage on his head. Note: his yellow eyes are a result of his infection, and it has nothing to do with the light element. He’s an ice dragon, but his eyes were yellowed ever since, and he's slowly losing his vision. He uses his ice magic to slow his infection, though he’s progressively losing control of it. Familiar (if applicable): A death seeker that helps him find food scraps from trash cans. It's like a vulture/annoying fly that Tommy has no control over. It just follows him wherever he goes, as if it can recognize death's coming somewhere close... They largely inhabit deciduous shrubs, their namesake plant being a particular favorite. She nurses a deep hatred of any dragon large enough to crush a bush underfoot, but otherwise doesn't have a problem with anyone who leaves her and her plants alone. When she has to participate in society, she usually does it by "selling" good soil (and gently harvested holly sprigs, in the wintertime). They're really terrible at understanding commerce and the "price" is usually the extraction of a promise never to harm a plant again (which they have no way of enforcing). Holly has a small amount of Earth magic (she can shape about her bodyweight in dirt, and usually uses it to transplant fertile soil). Her dryad magic means that her vitality is directly linked to the state of the plants around her. They glow and increase in strength when they're in a healthy grove and wilt into a sickly sliver of themself when they leave thriving areas. They are also very curious, which makes them a great researcher. Unfortunately, that does not make them a good person. They crave power and stop at no means if they can justify the ends. They're a slimy and spineless creature, able to go back on their word or lie without an ounce of shame. They're untrustworthy and distrustful, believing that "if you want something done, you should do it yourself". They like to make themself useful to the more powerful dragons around them, which allows them to fund their studies and experiments about the nature of life. What they are really after, is immortality, which also means they're very interested in regeneration and rejuvenation. They're very experimental with their science, but they are not careless. They only subject themself to their own products after they've ensured the side-effects are minimalized and the desired effects are maximized. They currently have three enhancements to their form: their glowing bulb that acts as a lightsource, the snapper blood that runs through their veins to eliminate the need for sleep, and the powerful acid that they keep contained within their body, ready to be fired out from their mouth at a moment's notice. They're able to command Earth and Shadow elements, Earth due to it being their own element and Shadow due to their familiarity with shade magic. Rumors of them being able to drain - contain - and repurpose another dragon's elemental magic follow them wherever they go, but they never bother to confirm or deny those rumors. And well, if they were true, they would never let that witness leave their lab alive. Their lab is quite well organized, everything shady is hidden in a secret room, guarded by a well-placed bookshelf. The inital room gives the impression of a humble alchemist's den, with a cauldron on one side and various ingredients and books on a bookshelf. Behind the bookshelf is their lab, with a permanent silencing spell cast on it, making their subjects inaudible to the outside world. The ingredients in the lab are of shadier nature, and there are restraints to protect the scientist from particularly unruly subjects. They've taken interest in quite a few dragons in this clan, and managed to move in under the guise of night, so as far as they know, no one in the clan is avare of their secret lab, or their true intentions of observing (and hopefully experimenting on) their clanmates. They pose as a harmless alchemist, who is interested in recording the abilities and habits of the more unnatural residents of the clan. While they are generally unnerving to be around, and their semi-constant humming of "huhuhuhuhuhuhuhu~" when something piques their interest, no one has kicked them out of the clan yet, and that is good enough reason for them to stay. She is also one of the most powerful members of it, as she’d diligently trained to become part of the Nebulans in order to finally use her skills in the pursuit of good. Short Description: Aqualia is quite the careless dragon. Very little matters to her, and if it does, it matters very little. (In most cases, that is.) Despite this, she’s part of a certain mercenary group called the Nebulans. She thrives there as a Shadow dragon, resembling an overly-large snake. She is also one of the most powerful members of it, as she’d diligently trained to become part of the Nebulans in order to finally use her skills in the pursuit of good. Or, that is, whatever the clients thought was “good”. She does not really seem trustworthy, and the dark red stains on her sinuous form do not help in the least. She was cursed to bear these stains, mimicking blood.
