[*][font=georgia]Someone from that Flight will get back to you if they can host. Please wait [b]12 hours before pinging the same flight a second time. [/b] [*][font=georgia]When your ad gets answered, go back and edit the post with the pings to let others know your search is finished! [b]Please don't delete the post![/b] Deleting the post leads to a lot of confusion for people who are getting the pings long after the post is gone. Just removing the pings or using a strikethrough code is sufficient! [*][font=georgia]Make sure the pair you want nested is ready to breed! Don't expect other Network members to hold your dragons for weeks - this is a nest hosting service, not a boarding thread. [*][font=georgia]Make sure you have a nest open when you offer to host a nest for another user! Or at least the user you're offering to host for that you won't have a nest open for a day or two. [*][font=georgia]Keep at least one nest open. It goes without saying to also keep enough space for the hatchlings, too. [*][font=georgia]Communicate, communicate, communicate! If you know you're going to be AFK for a while, try to wrap up your Network business before then! Or, at the very least, let your host/person you're hosting for know! [b] If you are Hosting for someone AFK, send reminder messages to the owners, and Message the Mods. They will hold on to ALL relevant dragons (including hatchlings) for you.[/b] From there, it is up to the mod's discretion what happens, including selling/exalting if the AFK time is upwards of weeks to months. [*][font=georgia]Once you find a nest, edit your post to let others know that your search is over. [*][font=georgia]Put your username in the bios of the dragons you are sending off to a nest! Or some similar reminder for the host to know where to return the dragons after the nest hatches. [*][font=georgia]You may negotiate a tip in food or currency or a free/discounted hatchling in exchange for the use of your nest. This should be agreed to by [i]both parties, and before the dragons leave their owner's lair![/i] [*][font=georgia]Contact any of the Network mods in case of a Flight or username change, or if you'd like to be removed. [/list] [center][b][font=georgia]Things NOT To Do:[/b][/center] [list][*][font=georgia][b]Require[/b] payment of any sort, be it monetary or in items or hatchlings. This is a free service! Prior negotiations are one thing, but forcing the other user to send items or currency in exchange for their dragons without that mutual consent is [b]extortion[/b] and the Nest Network will not tolerate it. [*][font=georgia]Ping the Network for a nest if you are not a member! [*][font=georgia]Double ping a flight! If you need a nest hatched on a specific day, try to get a host for it early. [*][font=georgia]Ping multiple flights through different posts! If you need nests from multiple flights in a day please ping them all at once rather than doing multiple posts. This helps keep the forum easier to navigate for everyone and reduce clutter. [*][font=georgia]Request nestings without hosting nests in return! The mods will keep an eye out for moochers who do not reciprocate nests hosted. [*][font=georgia]Be a Nestor or Nestee without the space to hold the dragons your are dealing with! Having a nest unexpectedly be five eggs, and needing a day to sort out the last one or two spots out of seven is one thing. Not accepting your dragons because you have zero spaces left entirely is different. This is not a hosting service! [*][font=georgia]Offer a nest if you don't currently have one available. Sometimes its nice to have a backup in a day or two if no one else can host, but ensuring the hostee knows the requested nest won't be open for a couple days is best. [*][font=georgia]Be a jerk if the other user happens to be offline right at rollover or when you send a CR. [*][font=georgia]Put someone else's dragons in your Hibden without permission. If you're holding onto the dragons for long enough you feel they need to be stored, you should be talking to a Mod first! [*][font=georgia]Be a jerk in general. This goes without saying, or it should. [*][font=georgia]Heck up either of Zie’s nice spreadsheets.
