The Lucky Star she/her ✰ eternally young ✰ playful luckbringer When Stars Align - Gothic Storm  Regarded by everyone in the clan as a symbol of luck, Wish is the first eternal hatchling residing in the Clover Garden, and the reason for the sanctuary's name. Once faced with an adversary that should have taken her life, Wish now lives on as a statement - wishes can indeed come true, and her presence alone encourages everyone to believe. When compared to the rest of the forever youngsters, Wish is the most innocent and playful, with a sweet disposition and seemingly little to no memories of her past. Many dragons would pay her a visit and spend some time playing with the Skydancer when they are in need of some luck, but there are plenty who do so simply out of fondness, with Nightshade being the prime example. |
Wish was a frail, sickly hatchling, born to a Shadow couple who abandoned her the instant they discovered that she suffered from a fatal illness. She was found later by Nightshade, who felt pity for the tiny Skydancer. Despite knowing that Wish may very well not survive, the Ridgeback let her heart be won over by the little dragon, who managed to keep her journey light-hearted even if she was plagued by the sickness.
The purple hatchling was by Nightshade's side all the time, even as she played her major part in halting the Emperor attack on the Clan Of Starchasers. In the end, there were minimal injuries, as they managed to hold off until the Arcanist himself descended upon the battlefield. At the battle's final moments, Wish was already so weak that everyone would be able to sense the melancholy radiating off the Ridgeback who shielded her through the entirety of the attack.
Fortunately enough, before Wish could take her last breath, the Arcanist, seeing her as a symbol of good luck, left the clan with a scroll, which bestowed a blessing upon the Skydancer that allowed her to remain with the clan forever, cured to her playful, innocent and happy young self. Even though eternal youth was regarded by some as a curse, but when it was a gift from the god himself, can anyone really argue that this wasn't meant to be?
Meadow and Ichor, as well as the rest of the clan who were recovering from the aftermath of the attack, welcomed her with open wings. The leaders themselves had used their magic to clear up an area and had a sanctuary built to welcome any and all future eternal hatchlings. There, she was formally given her name Wish, and seeing that she was its first, and probably only luckbringer, her new home was officially known as the Clover Garden.
To this day, she still graces the sanctuary with her lively bounces, believed to be the positive force that pushes the clan slowly, but surely to fulfilling their wishes.
