Both Zuri (7) and Skylark's (7) ears perked to the curious sound coming from the right tunnel. Zuri then glanced to the left. Paying no attention to the other dragons whom's paths had merged with their own, Zuri began down the left tunnel, because when in doubt, follow the fur. (whoops, I got the left and right options mixed up. I wanted to pick left. Oh well, I'll have to try to make sure not to mess up next year (hoping you do this again 'cause it's really fun)) Iris caught her breath. She looked at her empty bag. She used her spells and potions to escape those wolves. She could have sworn she picked the path with the single growl. Looking back, she must have been tired after running those scorpions. It's hard to hear what growl is coming from what cave when you can hear your blood pulsing through your head. "That was the wrong way. You left without me." Virtual said. "We're fine though, Aren't we?" Iris replied. "You said yourself the point is to win. I can fight a pack of wolves when ever. You can't. Why did you use all of your spells? Didn't you want to preserve them?" Virtual Interrogated. "We already lost, so why worry. Winning may be about getting first, but who cares? I say I'm a winner if I have my fun. Life's all about enjoying the moment. No need to worry about the past or future. So look up and lets go." Iris tried to be positive about this. Virtual was clearly mad. "Wrong." Virtual slashed iris. "Win - Verb - To be successful or victorious. This is not winning. Our command here is to win." Virtual choke held Iris. The lights around her eyes turned red. Iris mustered a laugh. Virtual was funny when angry. Such a blood lust that she would kill her just to prove a point. Truly hilarious. Truly morbid. Iris Had no intention of dying though. She took and emergency potion from her hat and threw it at Virtual. Virtual dropped Iris in recoil. "What the... Quelle m'avez-vous fait? Meine Schaltungen!" Iris looked at virtual and smiled. "Sorry, I had to throw this highly conductive liquid. You'll be okay though, I'm counting on you!" Having picked two wrong ways Iris no longer cared about winning. She figured if her clanmates got upset about them loosing anyways, she might as well smile and enjoy whatever she finds in the tunnel she chooses. With confidence and pride, she padded down Left ten. She collected sand and bones on her way. Virtual recovered from the electrical surge. She saw Iris go down the left path. Virtual crunched the numbers. Iris was right once. Probability says she is better without her. Virtual chose Right ten.

He wondered if that Bogsneak had gotten into too much trouble. He out his attention back to the forks. To the right, only breeze (as Mongrel could not focus on the clunking bone sound). Maybe some sort of wind-thing, or a bird of some sort? Though he had more clues of the left path, it seemed much more suspicious. Though he had more clues of the left path, it seemed much more suspicious. Bones and sand were a bad combonation- he knew of many snakes that lurked in the sand dunes, and would rather not deal with any snakes.

So, against his previous strategy, Mongrel chose to go down Right ten.
