It makes for some of the most unique, eye catching dragons imaginable and creates colors that simply don’t exist otherwise.

This fella is so new he’s not even named yet (feel free to make suggestions!), but I just… his Stained is so perfect he doesn’t even need other genes. He’s my first Ridgeback in actual years, and he’s so imposing and stunning as an adult:

Ironically, I really DON'T like stained. I feel more often than not, the dragon looks washed out and faded. I can't even look at threads with before and after, seeing so many vibrant dragons dulled. That said, it CAN work well, and I have used it some. It just is far from a go-to.
