Once a humble yet skilled warrior, always seeking his next opponent or opportunity to hunt, a mistake with his weapon of choice ultimately proved to be his downfall. Or, rather, should have been his downfall, given the poison he often coated it in before battle. His clan at the time– it was long ago, he can no longer recall who exactly they were, but one of the ones that did not cast him out– stopped at nothing to try and save their beloved friend. Their efforts, both magic and medicinal, did see results, but not of the sort they sought; he himself remained intact, but it became clear his body couldn’t withstand the ordeal. It was his decision to leave them after that, not wanting his family to see him deteriorate further than he already had. He’d figured he wouldn’t have much longer to live after that, but life has decided otherwise; he ended up here after being mistaken for a corpse while taking a nap in the woods. Truth be told, he doesn’t really know why he wanted to join, but he’s content under the circumstances. Perhaps with so many dragons there may be one with the knowledge and skills to either cure him or allow him to finally pass on from this life he feels he wasn’t supposed to remain in. Admittedly, he’s so used to how he lives at this point it isn’t a driving priority for him. Logical and interested in magic, at first glance many have not realized he was a Shadow dragon. His pale eyes and seeming disinterest in darkness and trickery don’t give the impression, though his mimic companion seems more than happy to indulge in his stead… It’s best not to try your hand at puppeteering them. He has shared little regarding his past, often describing it as uninteresting or irrelevant. A few have speculated that he came from a less magic-inclined clan, others that he’s leaving behind some regrets, but in truth he’s honest in there being little to talk about. It was a peaceful and fairly uneventful time in his life, before he sought to better understand the magical forces at play in Sornieth. Such a calling simply wasn’t able to be answered where he was, so he took to traveling, eventually finding himself among an eclectic clan of others finding their paths converge in most unusual fashion.
