Are there houses ready, or does your clan need to get building? [/quote] Mount Eurus is at the edge of the TangledWood, and is also touching the Sunbeam Ruins. It is considered rude to clam territory so close to the element borders, so the clan must expand in the other directions: North, West and South. There are a few neighbouring clans nearby, so, the clan creates "paths" to lead to the newly claimed territory in different areas in tangled wood. That way, the clan can grow with as little disputes as possible, though some clans do end up on the paths and then some clarifications must be made. The clan hopes never have to leave Mount Eurus and is open to most offers on land. [quote]When someone joins your clan, do they have any test to be able to do so? Is there a ritual or farewell party when a dragon leaves the clan?[/quote] Dragons come and go from Mount Eurus all for different reasons. There isn't some sort of ritual for it. The clan will accept most dragons, provided that things are going well and it looks like there isn't going to be a cut down on food supply and space. It's dependant on the dragon themselves. They are not going to quickly accept a dragon who jumps in screaming about a war going on between clans. It'll mostly be a matter of: Attack first, ask questions later. When someone leaves the clan. there is also no procedure. Though a goodbye would be very much appreciated. [quote]It's almost summer. Does it change anything for dragons? Some times, the summer gets dragons hyper and spend long nights doing things that shouldn't be done. Hopefully, nothing bad comes out of the eight month old Apple Cider... The summer is warmer than most days of the year, and the Tangled Wood is known to be either cool or very humid. Thus, causing some dragons to temporary become nocturne, spirals especially. [/quote] Mount Eurus is a mountain, but there are various paths to other areas like the Wispwillow Grove, The Driftwood Drag and the Foxfire Bramble. The Dirftwood Drag is where most of the food comes from, but it's not illegal if they hunt and gather in other areas, even in other elemental areas! Provided that the dragon doesn't go too far and arrives home in a day and in one piece. [quote]Is there anything artificial on any of your dragons? To increase her natural talents, she has been given mechanical wings to increase her manoeuvrability and flight-velocity. She is the clan's main engineer. Though that's not to say some trust her entirely.

The only thing he can remember feeling was the shock of the fact Blizzard's new mate is called Gale... Boy, his sister Gust had a fun time the next day...

They strayed too far into enemy territory, and were captured by Shadow clansmen- their eldest brother Taglien gave his life to the Shadowbinder in exchange for their freedom, but once freed, the brothers that swore an oath that his light would never go out from their hearts- and they dedicated their second chance at life to protecting the young and foolhardy of the clan, and teaching them to fight for themselves if the need arose- so that their brother's loss would not be in vain. [/i] As you might expect, Solus, being a kindhearted but very stern-minded military man, found the sun-brothers' behaviour tantamount to unforgiveably crime; recklessly endangering themselves and then causing the loss of their brother- the firstborn, and possibly even Solus' favourite, for it was a child Solus never expected to have, before he met Goldanna. Solus was heartbroken at the loss, and refused to speak to anyone and barely ate for weeks on end, spending his nights on vigilant patrols around their borders- too little, too late- and his days in grieving and meditation in his sun-soaked nest high on an exposed rocky outcrop far from the clan. He softened in time, but still will not praise anything the twins do; but between them they have decided that it is still right to do what is right, irrespective of reward. They still fight their hardest though, jubilant at the merest nod of acknowledgement from their estranged but beloved father. Beneth, (rough translation to 'wellness'), might have an interesting relationship with her new stepfather, but this has yet to be decided- her personality has changed as drastically as her appearance during the long absence. Gabrielle's grandfather lost touch with his children, leaving them to be dispersed in other families, when he lost his will to live after the loss of his beloved lifemate. Eventually and through stories in each of their bios and a letter from a hatchling, by Gabrielle to her father Mistletoe, a family once broken was brought together again and now there could be no more devoted father and grandfather than Albus is to his beloved son and granddaughter; he spends his days working hard to support them and to support all of the clan through the many talents he picked up in his privelleged youth as a nobleman and strategist and his travelling days before returning to his heart's home, in the Oakheart clan.

Hideki decided to learn sign-language, by himself, just so he could communicate with his deaf daughter. it wasn't easy, and it took an awful long time, but it was so worth it to be able to communicate with his beautiful daughter. He also taught her how to dance- something she'd watch her parents do as a hatchling and dream of dancing alongside them one day. They've maintained an extremely close relationship, and Hideki will be the first one on the scene if anything, no matter how big or small, happens to Etsuko. He would give his life for her. Senri blames himself for allowing his sister to chase out Minato's two siblings, but Minato doesn't blame Senri for this. No matter how hard he tries to convince him, Senri walks off and isolates himself. Minato loves his father, no doubt, but at the same time, he hates this father for blaming himself for everything.

Out of the, oh, three (I think) dragons from my own nests in my clan, one's dad is exalted, one's dad will probably be exalted soon, and the third is on great terms with her father. Interestingly, all three have Nature fathers and different element mothers. When the Arcanist himself recognized Merlain as an honorary Arcane dragon, well, Nightsky (father) got kind of mad. Now he couldn't make Merlain leave (not that he could before), so he himself left. Now for a good relationship. Pistachio is not Bok's first child, but she's his firstborn since coming to our clan. He's been born and raised in Nature his whole life and loves that his daughter is now the Nature ambassador to the lair. They've always been on very good terms. Pistachio's brother has been on good terms with both of them as well; his name is Bronzeclaw and he was living in his dad's old lair for some time, before deciding he's off to travel like his father. However, they were originally a fire clan, and instead of completely leaving the fire area, they've just made their own drowned oasis in the midst of the flames. If they want to learn to swim they can, but they are under no obligations to go swimming.

Storm has two sons. One of them, Tornado, was kidnapped by a Water clan and forced to labor for their purposes. The other, Windstorm, was cursed by the Gladekeeper and Lightweaver at birth. Huge, poisonous flowers sprouted alongside his flanks and back, draped with glimmering lines of pearl beads. They thrived on the blood of his body, giving off a sinister aroma. His body's coloring had been lightened considerably, making him appear smudged and indistinct. Storm treats Windstorm like a defect, as does his sister, Typhoon. Despite his hardships, thought, Windstorm is determined to prove his worth. Avocado, Lavaflow's daughter, is possessed by a spirit that drove her to kill her siblings, Thunder and Lightning. Devastated, her father disowned her and swore never to lay eyes on her again. Avocado's mother, Duskcatcher, however, did not abandon her daughter. The Fae stayed with Avocado to care for her. Lavaflow, to hide the fact that Avocado killed her siblings, claimed that Thunder and Lightning were sent to serve the Shadowbinder. However, deep down inside, he knew the terrible secret of his remaining daughter.

Graffy's primary role within the clan is to impersonate her father, as her genes have blessed her to look exactly like him save for a slightly more feminine form and slightly darker Smoke markings. As most individuals making contact with the Yokai Nocturnes of the clan expect Calligra to be a Plague or Shadow dragon, the discrepancy in elemental affinity is rarely called to question. Because Graffy needs to impersonate her father, however, she has the closest relationship with him than any of his sired hatchlings. She can often be found ruining quality quiet time between him and his mate Sanguine with her jovial presence, or bothering him to bits about how he feels on certain political topics she might be faced with during her impersonations. Occasionally, Calligra will oblige her, taking her to a secluded area of the Tangled Wood where they can look out over Gloomwillow Grove and have surprisingly deep conversations about the clan, its policies, and life in Sornieth in general.
