About the super shiny Fissure gene, I think it has to do with how the gene is set up for fluffy dragons For example, the blue on this skydancer for a copper secondary. Which equates to the blue here, meaning it's simply the jarringly different color and large size of the fluff that makes it look metallic. I personally like it this way, more than the opposite. You can see it looks shiny on Obelisks as well, though coatls don't seem to have more than a faint line of the opposite color on their swirls. Edit: misnamed the gene in question lol

@Sheliak I am hoping that is intentional! I like the way it fades the body into the muscle-and-bone part of the wing more gradually, rather than making some dragons with a very different body and wing color seem as though someone simply stuck the wrong pair of wings onto them. (I was even wishing more breeds had this effect.) A correction to my own earlier post - Pharaoh primarily seems to be where that 'creased paper' effect across the Pharaoh marking where wing meets body comes from, not Pharaoh/Sarcophagus. It might have to do with parts of the line vanishing into the darkness of the primary, leaving only the middle bit clearly visible, but I cannot get quite the same effect in other genes even in darker colors. But even if the secondary is Basic, I get the 'creased paper' effect, below. In Basic primary, secondary Sarcophagus, it starts to look more natural when I can see the entire line. Pharaoh/Sarcophagus flow so well on other breeds, in lines if not in color, so that one little bit bothers me here. A note, though - If this IS because of the transparent layering starting there (what Sheliak mentioned), making both of these things part of the same issue, I am honestly unsure which I would prefer - fixing the smudgy line and making Pharaoh extend full-strength up the 'arm' of the wing (not anatomically accurate but you know what I mean) as it does on other breeds, or keeping the transparent color-fade effect but being stuck with the line.... If I am in the minority here and most people want Pharaoh to work as per usual (as I was about wanting to keep sparkly Tundra manes, though I missed the poll), so be it, I am not going to keep harping on it! (edit - it helps if I use the word I meant!)

If I am in the minority here and most people want Pharaoh to work as per usual (as I was about wanting to keep sparkly Tundra manes, though I missed the poll), so be it, I am not going to keep harping on it!

(edit - it helps if I use the word I meant!)
I'm not 100% sure if this has been mentioned, but there is some very minor clipping in the Polkadot teritary for the hatchling on all colors It's very minor, but you can see it just on the edge of the right head, above where the hidden eye would be Here is a closer view with some other colors, you can make out the line where the head clips through the color from polkadot. Again, very minor, barely noticeable, just worth noting
