CLAN LORE Deep in the Snowsquall Tundra lies a darkened section of woods. Entering these woods is dangerous, far too dangerous for the average traveler alone. Even sizeable parties have gotten lost - or worse - attempting to make it through this stretch. Those that have returned claim ghouls lie within, though they are never taken seriously. The only claim we all know to be true is it more closely resembles the Shadow's reign than Ice's. Somewhere central to these brambles, story goes, lay a crumbling kingdom too deep within its self-admiration to accept its death. A fine king, gilded and revered, sets upon his dilapidated throne. He fills his castle with fineries of all sorts, a dinner and party taking place nigh every night. Through his frivolities a deep sorrow can be observed. He mourns his wife, lost forever to those cursed brambles. The majority of his guard had been lost to find her, though she was never found. Still, the palace huntress maintains her existence among the trees, often spotting her near an area darker than a new moon... |
