WIESIA
An autumn sunset

Labradorite Copper Pocketwatch
Wiesia: all celebrating, all glory

__________________________
Wiesia is the sunset on a cool autumn's evening. She is the fading rays of the weak sun during long cold months, as the temperatures slowly drop and skies fade to blue, then black.

Perhaps, if you look into the sky at the end of a beautiful sunset, you may see her frolicking through the skies, painting the clouds golden with her wings.

No
Wischii thought she'd finally found her forever home. She'd tried to settle down, like everyone else who'd come before her and those that slowly trickled in after her, setting up families and homes. She never expected the itch to leave in her heart to return, growing day by day every time she tried to deny leaving.

Until one fateful day, where her clan mates had snapped at her too hard, and her house felt too empty. She fled, never looking back, to the wide open world beyond.

Now Wischii travels the realms, looking for new friends and strange adventures. When people ask what she is travelling for, she laughs. Perhaps she wishes for a place to finally chase away the itch in her heart to leave it all behind again, that keeps her running away from (or, perhaps running towards) somewhere she could call home.

Entry #1: kiyoooo
I no longer feel like I belong here. My heart aches with the urge to travel, to continue my journey in seeing the world. I will miss this place, but it no longer feels like a place I could call home anymore.

After a long hibernation in the Shifting Expanses, Sparklemist stretched her wings and decided to continue her journey to find her father. It was only upon arrival to Kiyo's clan that she learnt her old home had been abandoned.

Where would she go now? She'd been travelling, but it was always with the thought that she could return home with her father in the end. Now she didn't even have a home to go back to. Upset, she spoke to Cygnus, the patriarch of the clan.

"There is a ritual that I know of. It will tie your roots to our clan, and welcome you here forever."

Cygnus closed his eyes, muttering the words of the binding ritual. Tendrils of golden light snaked its way out of the ground at her feet, and surrounded her in a warm embrace of brilliance. Sparklemist looked curiously at her wings and feet, that were now covered in shimmering gold tendrils. Cygnus spoke again. "Now, you are forever welcome to come back, after your journey has ended."

As Sparklemist set out on her journeys again, she looked warmly back at the beautiful gardens and dark, shimmery night skies. Back at her new home.

After a long journey, Hywel found himself in the Honeycroft Inn, where he met a few fellow travellers. As the night grew on and the food grew cold, and they each exchanged stories of their journeys so far, Hywel pulled the heavy tome out of his rucksack, handing it to the other two travellers. "Do either of you both happen to know what this could be? I'm afraid everyone I've met so far hasn't been able to give me any answers, and the more I attempt to study it, the more questions I seem to have."

His two companions grew quiet, seemingly unnerved by the power that emanated from the book. Sparklemist, who'd been lively the whole evening, now spoke in hushed tones. "Perhaps you should show this to Cygnus."

Cygnus, the patriarch of this clan, held the tome in reverence. "Well," he said, after a few long minutes of careful inspection, "This book seems to hold many secrets that it does not wish you to discover." He looked carefully at Hywel. "I am sorry but I am not sure if I can help you much with this. The language used is not one I fully understand, and no one here has knowledge of the arcane arts." Hywel nodded, disappointed. Cygnus continued. "However, from what I've been able to glean, the secrets that this book contain are to do with knowledge. Pure knowledge, in its highest form. No doubt, whoever bound this book so strongly did not wish anyone to learn whatever was contained here."

"I hope you will make the right decision, Hywel."

FERMENT
Duration of stay:
10 days;

No
Ferment had been travelling for a while, when he'd come across a little idyllic grove, where the birds sang and the stars sparkled. He scoffed. What a silly, picturesque scene. Pretending everything is perfect in the world.

After gazing at the scene for a little longer, Ferment decided. What fun it would be, if I sowed a bit of distruct and malignance amongst such peace! It would be so much fun to see everything here crash and burn. Having made up his mind, Ferment made his way into the clan.

It had been going well the first few days. Ferment had spread a little lie through the clan, that Sweetheart, the baby of the clan, was vapid and secretly thought himself above everyone else. Cygnus, the patriarch, didn't care about any of the other dragons, and was only in his position due to favouritism. Slowly, but surely, the web of lies grew, until almost everyone in the clan became unsure of each other, slowly growing further and further apart. Ferment cackled silently. These idiot dragons. How dare you try to pretend you all love each other and are a big family, when a few words can so easily turn you against each other? You're all just a bunch of hypocritical liars!

But Ferment hadn't expected his plan to go wrong. Or, he'd underestimated the love that everyone had for each other. After hearing of the rumours of his vapidness, Sweetheart apologised to everyone, and promised to not act like that again. Cygnus, after being told about how he'd been accused of favouritism, had a meeting with all the dragons, where he gave them a chance to air out any grievances or concerns they'd previously held, and talked with them for hours on how he could improve himself and the clan. After everything had been done, dragons went amongst themselves, apologising to and forgiving each other on the rumours they'd previously believed.

It was horribly sappy, and disgustingly sweet and perfect. Ferment knew he'd lost, here. Before everyone had the chance to realise exactly who'd started spreading the rumours in the first place, he left by the shadow of night, hurrying onto the next clan. Perhaps he would have more success there...

It was a strange coincidence that Iwan found himself lost in the land of Light, a place completely different to where he had grew up in.

The first time he'd seen the sun rise, so bright and blinding across the sky, he'd ran away in a panic into a sheltered alcove. The other dragons watched on curiously, seemingly lost at his actions. How are they not running in fear? Iwan cried silently. How could they not be hurt by the light?

After a long while of wandering, Iwan eventually came across a night-fallen grove. The stars twinkled brightly in the sky above, and the leaves rustled in the night breeze. Having spent a long while running and hiding from the sun, Iwan immediately felt at peace here. He slowly made his way to a small inn on the periphery of the grounds. Here, he stayed for a few quiet days, before leaving on his travels once more.

He didn't like the light anymore than before, but perhaps he would grow it like it one day.

Ripnami liked to fish. In fact, maybe she liked to fish too much. While all the other dragons were busy frolicking and playing in the fields, she liked to sit by her hut in a quiet part of the lakes, fishing away. None of the other dragons understood why she spent so much time fishing.

But there were rumours of a special book that could be found in the waters' depths, that could only be obtained by fishing. Ripnami had only heard of it in old fishermen's tales, but it had gripped her ever since. But lady luck was not on her side, and she'd been fishing for months to no avail.

Perhaps, it was time for her to try fishing in other seas.

I've been fishing here for a while. The catches are pretty bad, and I haven't been able to catch any new fish at all. Not to mention that blasted book. Maybe I should find a better fishing spot.

After a long week of travelling, Firth finally arrived in the Daylight Sanctum, where he came across a small grove, blanketed by starlight. The other dragons, hearing that he loved water, were overjoyed. "Come!" They said, "We have a huge lake here! Maybe you'll like it?"

The lake was crystal clear, with tiny fish swimming in its depths. Firth took a dip, and sighed in contentment. Perhaps this was where he was meant to be? He thought. But the lake, while soothing on his worn muscles and tired feet, did not calm his racing heart that yearned for the seas. He could still feel the call of it now - whispering towards him, "Come! Come submerge yourself in my depths; Come to me, Firth!"

It was with great reluctance that Firth left, once again, but he knew what he wanted now, and he would not stop until he found it. And besides, now that he knew where this clan was, he could always come back for a visit.

After wandering for a long time, Hope came across a leafy grove, where stars shimmered ahead. Curious, she entered, to find out that the grove was populated by plant and star-like dragons that frolicked around the grounds in peace and harmony.

She talked to the dragons about her predicament, and asked if they had any suggestions. While the others found it hard to understand her frustrations, they spoke of how they tried to become more plant-like when they were feeling upset. "To become immovable, immobile. A fact, like how there will always be stars in the sky, and flowers on the ground."

So one day, when Hope found her tree and herself having a particularly intense disagreement, resulting in the worst migraine she'd ever had, Hope took a deep breath, and imagined herself becoming her tree. Her thoughts slowed down, and it was like she could feel the breeze blowing gently through her leaves. Her tree's leaves.

As she opened her eyes again, she felt truly at peace for what might have been the first time in her life.

FRAUBROW
Duration of stay:
16 days;

No
Fraubrow had known that things were getting worse. He wasn't about to lie to himself about that, at least. The dragons around him had been getting more aggressive, with a shorter fuse to trigger these outbursts, and sometimes they became so insatiably violent it was like they had no more control over their anger. It was like the black spirals coating their chest and wings grew thicker by the hour, matching the sudden increaed in the frequency and intensity of their violence.

What he did lie to himself about, day by day, was that he wasn't getting worse as well. He'd lived in the Wyrmwound for only a few months, after all. And while his skin had been getting darker, a sign of the Shade's corruption, there were still good patches of white on his skin that were untouched. That was a good sign, right? Surely they'd be tinged grey if he was truely coming under the Shade, right? Yes, he'd snapped furiously at one of the other dragons over something small, and had felt such blindsiding rage when one of his friends made a teasing remark that he'd felt ready to kill, but surely it was reasonable right? Since he was already annoyed at them.

And he still was able to appreciate the little things, like a good opera, or a well-written book. Surely someone who was completely Shade-ridden wouldn't be able to understand the beauty in these things, right?

One day, however, this all changed. When he'd grown so angry at a hatchling, who'd been playing and had run over his foot, tripping him up. Fraubrow had grown so irrationally angry that he stopped thinking, and went into a red-eyed rage. By the time that he'd come to, the rest of the hatchlings were staring at him in adject terror, and there was a lot of blood on the floor and on his claws. The hatchling who had tripped him over was nowhere to be seen.

Fraubrow was horrified. When had he become this horrible monster? He didn't even remember what he'd done to that poor hatchling, but he remembered feeling a sick thrill throughout. He felt sick.

He had to get out of here. Even if he never got better, at least he'd never get worse. And perhaps, he'd even be able to find a cure.

The first place that Fraubrow arrived at was Starflower Grove. His head whirling with thoughts, he stumbled his way into their inn and promptly fell asleep. In his dreams, it was like he could still feel the blood of that innocent hatchling dripping off his talons.

This clan was a lot more peaceful than his old one. Gentle winds rustled the leaves in the garden, meticulously planted and cared for by dedicated gardeners. The stars above shimmered as he rested his gaze upon them, as if saying hello. The dragons here were kind - too kind, Fraubrow thought, for a dragon that deserved none.

He stayed here for almost 3 fortnights, accepting the beauty of the clan and the kindness of the dragons like a fraud. But he was, wasn't he? He'd hurt someone innocent, and had enjoyed it. He didn't deserve this - sinners didn't deserve anything this good and wonderful. Not to mention that he still had anger flare-ups that left him drained and horribly guilty.

He left the clan quietly in the middle of the night, so as not to disturb any of the other dragons. It was for the best, he told himself. Lest he corrupt the other dragons with the monster that he was.

As Verissimo trudged his way through what felt like his 5th week of barren land, he saw a small inn in the distance. Eager for a good night's sleep, he hastened his footsteps, and soon found himself in the warmth of the local tavern, sharing his stories with the other dragons there.

As he talked about his experiences throughout Sornieth, one of the dragons piped up. "You're a singer?" He exclaimed. "I'd love to be a singer one day!"

The dragon who'd spoken was a young Coatl, practically vibrating on the edge of his seat in excitement. "It's my dream to become a singer, and bring joy to the people who listen to me! How do you do it? Do you have any advice for me?"

Verissimo felt like a bit of a fraud. Here he was, sharing his story about being a singer when really he had no talent at all, and this little Coatl had stars in his eyes looking at him, expecting him to be something he really wasn't. "Well... I'm not- I'm not really anything special..."

"Nonsense." One of his fellow travellers, Fraubrow snorted. "I've listened to a lot of music in my lifetime, and this guy is good. Honestly," Fraubrow turned to him. "You should have more confidence in yourself! You're amazing, and don't even try to deny it!"

Verissimo suddenly struggled to get words out. "R-Really? But I'm not classically trained or anything, and there are so many other dragons that are way more impressive than me..."

"Yes, there are lots of other dragons that might be better than you. So what? If being good at something means you had to be the best at it, then no one would be good at anything, right?" Fraubrow continued on. "I can see talent when it's in front of me. You're talented, and a good teacher and some vocal lessons would be able to bring that talent right out."

After spending a few more nights here, recurperating for the journey to come, Verissimo bade a teary farewell to his newfound friends and continued on into the night. However, what Fraubrow had told him still lingered at the back of his mind.

Yes
After a long slumber in an ice lair, Molli was ready to travel again. So she packed up her belongings and made flight towards the Sunbeam Ruins. Here, she came across a curious lair: during daytime, it was a light-dappled grove with plant-like dragons, that at night turned into a habitat full of starry beings.

Here, she learnt many stories; of the shimmering stars in the night sky, of the gentle summer wind that rustled through the leaves, of the light that shone through the lands, and the warmth in their hearts.

After Molli had made her leave from the Outsiders clan, she was making her way through Sornieth when she came across a familiar grove. As she made her way closer to the clan, she realised that she'd been here before!

Eager to finally meet a friendly face after her stay in the previous clan, she hurried into the grove. Not much had changed since her last visit - most of her friends were still here, although there were some new faces to the group.

The other dragons were eager to see her perform again, and she acted out her journeys throughout Sornieth, leaving everyone enraptured by her performance. Before she left, one of the dragons came up, and whispered shyly, "You're so cool! I think I might want to become an actor in the future."

When Raisa arrived at Starflower Grove, she wasn't sure if this place would require her services. A lot of the dragons had skin types she wasn't familiar with - skin as soft and fragile as flower petals; skin rocky and rough like boulders; or skin that rippled and seemed to be non-existent, as if she was running her paws through pure night skies. She set up her little stall, but felt a bit lost at first. How would she be able to help these people, when she'd never learnt how to help them before?

Then, a pink Coatl came up to her stall. "You're a dermatologist?" He asked, delighted. "I've been wanting someone to give me tips for skincare! It's so hard to find someone who knows anything about dragon skincare nowadays..."

As Raisa chatted with him enthusiastically about the use of toner potions and flower tinctures, a crowd of dragons slowly formed. Soon enough, Raisa found herself busier than she'd ever expected to be. Many of them had questions she didn't know how to answer, but many more wanted her to help give them skincare tips for softer skin, or for her to help scratch an itch, or advice on better hygiene.

When Raisa finally decided to move on, it was a sad day for everyone in the clan. But they were all thankful for Raisa's visit. Because, if not for her, most of them wouldn't have known how to take care of their skin better, and now could work towards maintaining better skin health.

Ranma had always been interested in the world around him, ever since he was but a small hatchling. He loved to notice small details that might have been lost to another. He wished he could keep a copy of all these beautiful moments, but alas all he could do was to engrain them to memory, as Ranma was no artist.

That is, until he discovered photography. Now Ranma, armed with a little camera of his own, travels Sornieth to capture all the beautiful moments that make life worth living!

After his arrival to Starflower Grove, Ranma was captivated by the natural beauty of his surroundings. There were so much lush greenery and beautiful flowers that he couldn't get enough! But Ranma had the chance to see one of the most beautiful sunsets in his life here. He quickly snapped a picture of it, so he could treasure those warm golden glows.

Growing up, Cappuccino was always surrounded by food. Her mum being a farmer, and her dad being a chef-in-training, she learnt a lot about the best techniques for cooking, how to tell which produce was freshest, and which seasonings went best with what meats and cooking styles.

However, her true passion laid in dessert-making. She especially loved making pastries and cakes, and absolutely loved the reactions her friends and family had to her sweet treats. Her father had often joked that Cappuccino and him would open a family cafe in the future, and Cappuccino held onto that dream like her life depended on it.

However, she felt restless. There were so many more delicious desserts that she had never experienced and tried before - how could she hope to open a cafe with her limited repertoire? The only thing she knew how to make was pastries and cakes, after all! What about all the lovely family recipes that she'd never get to learn? So one day, she bade a teary farewell to her parents, and headed out into the world to discover all the delicious dessert recipes that awaited her!

"This is the dessert that I always used to have with my grandfather! Every time I visited him, we would go get it together - it was our little ritual."

After a long night of travelling, Velveteen and I finally arrived at a new clan. This place seems quite nice and calm, so we've settled down to rest and get our bearings for a few days.

Velveteen has been enjoying herself, getting to work on the gardening with the gardener here, but I haven't been able to relax enough to get this nagging feeling out of my mind. It just seems like something is calling to me from this place - but I can't even place what it is. This place just feels very oddly familiar...

Perhaps it is nothing, but I just can't shake this feeling. I think I'll feel better, though, once we leave this clan.

I've just arrived at the Starflower Grove! It's quite nice and calming here. Truffle and I were able to take a bit of a break from our journeys, and settle down in the inn with our fellow travellers. I wish Dad and Mum could have seen this place; it's so idyllic and beautiful that I think they would fall right in love!

We've not been up to much, as Truffle's not been feeling very well, but I did get to work with the gardener, Hydrangea here! He's not a very outspoken person, but he was kind enough, and showed me the best ways to farm the land and grow seeds from scratch. Sadly, I don't think I'm really cut out for it, bit it was cool to learn! When I come back, I'll show everyone my gardening skills, and they'll all be so impressed! - V

My next stop was in Starflower Grove, a small garden tucked away in the corner of the Mirrorlight Promenade. This was a first for me, as I'd never interacted with anyone from Light before - it must be so different from everything I've seen before!

The dragons here are quite curious too. Most of them come from all around Sornieth, and yet they all manage to live in harmony. I was really curious as to how they did it, as I thought that they would have lots more arguments as they all come from different backgrounds and cultures!

What they told me was really interesting - apparently as they all see themselves as a part of nature, like the trees and stars, they've managed to connect and bond due to this, and now share a common culture despite being from different places!

I feel like it's quite cool to be able to create your own culture with people you connect with, so hopefully I'll get to meet someone like that in my next journey...

After many long days of travelling, Wyn finds himself in a light-dappled glade. The dragons here are like flowers and trees, some leafy and with a bark-like texture, some sweet-smelling and soft as a petal. As night comes, however, and the garden dragons go to sleep, constellation-like dragons come out to play and linger in the moonlit grounds. Unfortunately, neither group of dragons has seen his family.

With nothing else to do in this peaceful, quiet lair, Wyn settles down with the other dragons and begins studying. While initially a slow learner, he learns more about botany and astronomy than he'd ever wanted to, and finds himself more curious about the world than he had been before. But Wyn has stayed enough here, and is restless to continue his journey.

Still feeling slightly dazed, Wyn made his way to the Light territories, until he reached a clan that seemed familiar. Walking in, he realised that he'd visited here previously.

Wyn spent a few days here, comforted by the familiar sights and smells of this clan. He even managed to catch up with friends here. Although, he still couldn't shake the odd feeling of missing something important. It was such a strange feeling. It was almost as if......

As she waited excitedly, the other dragon presented her with one of the most beautiful fluffy coats ever. "It brings out the pink in your skin!" He said excitedly.

It was a storm that had swept her away from her family. It was ironic, then, that a storm would have brought her to a place that reminded her eerily of her home, before it had been ravaged by the storm.

The place that Val found herself in now, was a small leafy grove, filled with lush trees and delicately-coloured flowers. Sweetpuffs chirped ahead, bringing a strong rush of nostalgia to her. She hadn't seen her home in what felt like years. Surely, if the dragons here accepted her as one of them... No. Thinking that way was madness. How was she supposed to find the solution to the curse that plagued her true homeland, if she tried to join every clan that she came across? And what about her mate, waiting at home for her return?

But there was no harm in staying here for a bit longer, to rest, Val told herself. She stayed here, recuperating and discussing her plans with the patriarch of the clan, Cygnus. And it was with much reluctance that Val eventually found herself saying her farewells to the dragons here, who looked on with kindness. Val wished desperately that she could stay here forever, but she knew that she had a mission to fulfill. And time was not on her side.

  • The next flight that Moloko landed in was a Light clan. This was exciting for her - she'd never been in a Light clan before!
  • The other dragons, upon seeing her arrival, crowded around her excitedly to listen to her stories!
  • Overwhelmed with the sudden attention, Moloko remembered the days when her grandchildren would crowd all around her, listening to her stories about life while her children looked on with an exasperated smile, and a chiding "Mum, you're making up stories again!"
  • So Moloko, now feeling like she was surrounded by her grandchildren again, told them about the time she'd run away from a firelord, having to herd her sheep through the lava pits all around them. She told them about that time she'd lost a sheep, and had to hunt it down all the way to Shadow territory to get it back!
  • The other dragons sat in rapt attention, as she told them all her stories. And well, if she had gotten them wrong and had slightly embellished the details, no one but her needed to know that.

  • The next clan Maitho and Reyes found themselves in was a small grove, blanketed by the night sky.
  • Maitho's spirits were high again. Maybe with a new batch of people, he'd finally be able to get rid of some of this gold!
  • As they made their way into the inn, Maitho surveyed the dragons around him. They all seemed so trusting and innocent - perfect marks for him to peddle his wares towards.
  • As he set up a pop-up stall near the centre of the clan, preparing to sell his gold towards a group of curious onlookers, Reyes tapped him gently on the shoulder.
  • "Maitho, are you setting up a shop? Can I join you? I'd love to sell some of my quilts as well!" Reyes smiled up at him, his eyes becoming round and pleading.
  • How could Maitho say no to that smile? With a grumble, Maitho made space for Reyes to sit down next to him, and moved his Fool's Gold to one side for him to place his quilts on the stall.
  • Soon, a crowd had gathered around their little stall. Reyes was overwhelmed with dragons that wanted a quilt of their own, and very soon Reyes was out of quilts to sell.
  • Unfortunately, none of the dragons were interested in Maitho's gold. Something about it being too pricey, and about how it looked fake.
  • Hopefully he'd be luckier at the next clan he ended up.

Starflower Grove (written by kiyoooo)
The next clan Maitho and Reyes found themselves in was a small grove, blanketed by the night sky. Reyes was looking forward to a new environment - he loved the stars, and was looking forward to a place full of nature and flowers.

As Reyes began to settle down in the inn, he noticed Maitho setting up a little stall outside their window. "What a nice idea!" Reyes thought. "I'd love to set up a stall for my quilts! Wouldn't it be nice if I could give some of the dragons here something warm and comfy." His mind made up, Reyes left the room to find Maitho, tapping him gently on the shoulder.

"Maitho, are you setting up a shop? Can I join you? I'd love to sell some of my quilts as well!" Reyes smiled up at him, his eyes becoming round and pleading. After a bit of grumbling, Maitho acquiesied, shifting over to the side. Smiling happily, Reyes put down the pile of quilts he was carrying, and sat down on the stool next to him.

Soon, there were a crowd of dragons around them. Reyes was overwhelmed very quickly with dragons who all wanted one of his quilts for themselves, and not long after he had run out of quilts to sell. He had also managed to get a few fabric scraps from dragons, who wanted to contribute to his quilt making.

After all the chaos was over, Reyes looked over at Maitho to see him looking slightly dejected. It seemed like he hadn't been able to sell any of the gold he was carrying. "Well," Reyes smiled comfortingly, perhaps we'll have more luck in the next clan!"

With the scraps that he'd gotten from the dragons, Reyes created a beautiful quilt made of interlocking green and pink scraps. He loved it, because it reminded him of all the flowers he saw in the grove!

The first clan that TimberBeetle arrived at was Starflower Grove. She was really excited, as she'd never been in a Light clan before! She couldn't wait to see all the lovely insects that she would encounter!

While here, the rest of the dragons were helpful, although not very knowledgeable. The most help that she managed to get was from Hydrangea, the gardener, who pointed out some common bugs that he saw while gardening, although he didn't know all of their names. TimberBeetle wrote down a short description and sketch of each anyways - maybe she would meet someone who could tell her more about each!

Titan had grown up basically an orphan. He did know his parents, yes, but they'd essentially abandoned him from the moment he could talk, too caught up in their own life to want for a son. He'd grown up between houses, living off the kindness of his neighbours, learning to fend for himself when others his age were still weaning off milk. It had left him callous, almost cruel, and the other dragons found him different and strange.

But he'd tired of this place. His neighbours no longer looked upon him with kindness, as he was no longer a small hatchling but an adult now, and they were not as quick to sympathy. He had few companions here anyways, and those that did only did so out of a warped performative altruism, or to gain a favour from him. No. Perhaps he would be able to find someplace that was more suitable, where his strength would be admired instead of hated, and his bluntness seen as honesty than callousness.

Packing his bags, Titan set out into the night, but not before casting one final glance back at the small clan he'd grown up in.

Entry 001//Starflower Grove
After a long period of travelling, Titan came across a small grove tucked into the sides of the Mirrorlight Promenade. The clan seemed to be a huge garden, with dragons of all walks of life going about their daily activities in a quiet, calm routine.

Titan felt distinctly out-of-place here. This place seemed to be such a perfect, calm area. It was the exact image of the ideal picturesque, idyllic countryside that you would imagine for a holiday or retirement life, and with his poor, rough upbringing, he felt that he couldn't possibly belong to a group of smiling, friendly dragons that likely had never gone through what he had in their whole life.

This was until he met Narcissus. Narcissus, a Gaoler like him, was also vastly different from all the other dragons here. While the other dragons were cheerful and friendly, always up for a chat, Narcissus was aloof, mute both in words and expression. While not a warrior himself, he knew much of being one, and expressed his experiences with him through sign language and painstakingly drawn runes in the earth.

Titan spent most of his time with Narcissus while in this clan, and when he finally prepared to leave this place, he felt like he was leaving it with the feeling of being understood.

Andis is a strong, loyal protector, fiercely loyal to Koa. He sees Koa as his little sister, and often chides her for not being more careful in trusting people. She doesn't always listen to him though, causing him to always worry over her safety. Him and Koa are currently travelling together to discover the world beyond their home, and hopefully make sure that Koa stays safe throughout their travels.
After a long journey, Andis and Koa arrived at a small clan in the edge of the Mirrorlight Promenade. Tired from their long journey, Koa promptly collapsed on one of the beds in the Inn and fell asleep; Andis, not as easily trusting of a new territory, forced himself to stay awake, and took the time to slowly investigate the clan around him. The clan seemed to be home to many nature-like dragons, from dragons with rock-like skin, to those with skin that shimmered and rippled like starlight.

Koa, when she'd settled down, was overjoyed with the clan. "This is amazing! All these dragons are so friendly, and I've had so much fun getting to know everyone!" Andis, on the other hand, was fraught with worry, struggling to hold himself back from stopping her from socialising. They hadn't even gotten to know these dragons or who they were, how could they just blindly trust them to be nice and not harm them? But he had no heart to stop Koa, who was nearly shining with excitement at getting to know these new dragons.

But after having stayed here for a while, and Koa started to itch with the desire to continue travelling, they headed off to discover their new adventure. Andis was just glad that the dragons at that clan hadn't done anything terrible to them, but he started worrying about the dragons at the next clan. What would happen then?

Koa is a sweet, gentle dragon that, in Andis' opinion, trusts people much too easily. She personally just loves to meet new people, and wants to learn more about different places! Her and Andis are currently travelling together to discover the world beyond their home, and hopefully experience some exciting new stories to take home.
The first clan Andis and I arrived at was a small grove, tucked beneath a sky full of stars. It was delightful to find myself here, as it proved to be a nice relaxing place to take some rest before our next journey! Andis told me to be a bit more wary of the dragons here, but I thought he was being much too cautious. After all, the dragons here were absolutely wonderful and kind! I got to work with Hydrangea, the gardener here, and had a lovely tea with Limsa and Pyros. I even learnt some baking tips from them!

It was a wonderful stop, and I can't wait to see what I experience in the future!

Achievement spent some time in this clan, getting to know the peaceful dragons living here. This clan was a nice, restful place for him, which he found a bit difficult to fit into. He'd grown up with criminals after all, and was wary of any interaction with these dragons, no matter how kind they seemed to be.

Achievement never managed to feel fully integrated into this clan, so after a few days, she decided that the best way would be to move on. So he packed his bags, said goodbye to the dragons here, and set off on his next journey.

The next clan Athana arrived at was Starflower Grove, a small grove blanketed by a starry night sky. She was excited - she could tell upon her first entry that there would be a ton of plants and herbs that could be useful for her alchemy work! While she wasn't very familiar with recognising them in the wild, luckily one of the gardeners who worked there was able to recognise the plants that she'd seen described in her books. It was a pleasant surprise to the both of them, when they realised that feverfew, a plant that Athana had wanted to experiment with for a long time, grew in plentifully here!

After a period of time of tinkering with experiments and learning more about recognising plants in the wild, Athana decided that it was finally time to move on with her studies. She bade farewell to all the dragons here, and set off. But she didn't leave empty-handed, for before her departure, Hydrangea had given her a book of botany, as well as a basket full of feverfew!

Ever since he was a little hatchling, Faseling had found it difficult to play with the other dragons. He loved to play, and had the wildest imagination, coming up with fun and interesting games that he was sure the other hatchlings would have loved. He often looked on with envy at his nestmates joyfully rolling around, play-fighting in the air.

He'd never been able to join in though, no matter how hard he tried. Every time he tried to come near his nestmates, they'd shied away from him, too scared of the prickly spines on his skin. Once, he'd managed to invite one of the others to play with him, but that had ended quickly when he'd bumped into them too hard and had injured him. The nest mother had quickly put him in a corner after that, and forbade him from coming too close to the others again.

After a long time struggling to connect with others in his clan, Faseling decided that the best thing to do was to set off, to discover a clan that could connect with him, despite his prickly skin.

After a period of travelling, Faseling found himself in a small grove, blanketed under a starry night sky. Making his way into the clan, he noticed that the dragons here were like stars or plants, seemingly at one with their surroundings.

Faseling found it a bit hard to connect to them. While they were friendly enough, and were happy to be friends with him, they were so different that building a relationship with them was like building a relationship with a plant; you could love them for their beauty, but you could never connect with them in a way that mattered.

The dragon he got along the best with was a mute Gaoler named Narcissus, who at times felt as lonely amongst these dragons as he did.

Perhaps he would find better luck in another clan...

Alcoria felt like she'd been travelling for eons, when she finally arrived at Starflower Grove, a small welcoming garden tucked into the corner of the Mirrorlight Promenade.

Alcoria immediately felt at home here. The dragons here seemed to all be nature-like, ranging from plants to stars. Alcoria, with her green, petal-like skin, and fern-coloured wings, was accepted into the bunch, and was taught a lot about botany and to care for plants.

When she finally left for a new territory, Alcoria felt like she'd learnt something new, about herself and about the world around her.

  • She'd been flying in a blind panic for what felt like hours, when she'd arrived at this clan. She was lucky to have landed here, nearly collapsed out of exhaustion - it was a beautiful grove, with a equally stunning inky, starry night sky.
  • It was like the universe had known that she needed someplace to rest, and rest she did.
  • She slumbered in this clan for what felt like days, almost in a trance-like, hibernal state. The other dragons had never seen something like this, and fussed over her as she laid there, nearly motionless.
  • Only after 3 days of a near-dead slumber did she awake, feeling much better for the turn. The healer who'd been standing worriedly abover her bedside nearly jumped for joy.
  • Here she stayed for a few days longer, chatting with the dragons in the clan and getting to know them all better. She grew closer to the healer who had taken care of her as well, learning more about medicine and surgery, spending most of their time together.
  • It felt like this was the first time that she'd grown so close to someone else, ever since she'd left the Brass Union. So it was with great reluctance that she left Starflower Grove.
  • Perhaps, she'd be able to find someone out there that would connect with her just as well.

It's hard for me to imagine that I've left home for nearly a year by now. It feels like I've been travelling for so long, yet every time I go to somewhere new, I still manage to find something I've never seen before!

The new clan I found myself in was a small grove, tucked away in the corner of the Mirrorlight Promenade. While the garden itself was beautiful and well-tended, there were swathes of forest slightly beyond the grounds, where I managed to catch myself some rabbits. Funny to think how a rabbit was how I ended up leaving my clan, and led me to be catching rabbits miles away from my home!

While the dragons here were friendly and all too eager to help me settle in and rest, the forests and wildlife left me homesick. Perhaps, I should start trying to make my way home, and see what adventures I come across along the way...

At some point, Silvervale and her had lost each other somewhere along the way, in the midst of a huge storm. Sora felt saddened to find herself alone once again, but perhaps it was for the best after all, as her and Silvervale would occasionally fight. However, she still couldn't help but ask after him at each clan she arrived at, wanting to know what had happened to her former companion.

When she arrived at Starflower Grove, she learnt to her surprise that Silvervale had arrived her shortly after the storm! He had left weeks ago already, and was sure to be somewhere far, but Sora was relieved to hear that he had made it safely. Here, she spent a good few days resting and chatting with the dragons in the clan, who were all very friendly and curious as to her travels.

But soon, it came time for her to leave. Sora bade farewell to her newfound friends, and set out once more, in search of her next adventure.
