Sunsets and Sunrises are Lambert's calling. He helps hatchlings fall asleep at night when they are too afraid. Too afraid of the monsters under their beds or in their closets. Living within a clan full of beasts and things can be very terrifying. Lambert would be similar to a nightlight for them with his bright God-given eyes and with those eyes came the bedtime stories. He would settle the young hatchlings into bed and with the help of his eyes, would tell elaborate bedtime stories using his hands to form shadow puppets. The children love his stories and the shadow puppets. Unknown to them, some of the shadow actors are some of the beasts that they feared. Lambert used it as a way to get the hatchlings used to them and to see that they don't have to be afraid of their clan mates. By the time the sun fully sets, the hatchlings are fast asleep and he is free to wonder through the night. Some in the clan know him as the Lantern Bearer. His eyes illuminating the evening night and darting through the village as he helps weave dreams for his sleeping clan mates. He is quiet content with wandering the clan at night. It is peaceful for a time but he mainly enjoys interacting with the Beasts. The Beasts were actually the ones who started calling him Lantern Bearer, commenting on his frequent nocturnal walks around the clan territory. One particular Beast had started to be fond of following him. She only stayed within the shadows, she would never interact with him during his many bedtime stories, and she would just silently follow him. He didn't find it unusual, Silence was always there when he first was brought to the clan to live with his distant aunt and uncle, Roya and Grantley, his new family, and teachers of his lineage. Silence like her name, doesn't say anything. She just follows and listens which he found comfort in especially since like himself, she would appear during the dusk hours and will be gone by first morning light. Sunrises are another favorite time for Lambert. It is when he helps gently awaken dreamers from difficult dreams or to help calm those who's dreams had taken a more nightmare turn in the night. He would sit and listen to them talk about their dreams to lift the weight off of them as well as putting an input about their meanings to give the dreamer some ease. Rarely, but for some clan mates, they do not like to talk about their dreams so Lambert would sit quietly, mimicking Silence and how she would comfort him by just her presence. He enjoyed bringing comfort and calmness to them so that their day would start light. Once the morning light starts to rise, it is his turn to fall into his slumber. Where he can enter the dreamlands seemingly alone, only encountering the other nocturnal clan mates that are also asleep. Luckily, they don't see him, just merely shadows within the realm which allows him to dream in peace. |

These individuals could include healers, assassins, beasts and more. Either way, if a Death Seeker warns you that your death is imminent, it's best to heed their advice.
