______ Anatolios is an artist, one with a particular talent for landscape paintings and portraits. His favorite medium to work with is watercolor on canvas, but he can work with just about anything if need be. His forays into the other arts, on the other hand, have not ended so well - particularly sculpting, which culminated in a particularly embarrassing failure that made him drop the art entirely. Even so, this doesn’t stop him from trying his hand at new things - after all, how do you know you won’t like something if you’ve never tried it? Who knows, you might just like it! Like with cheese, for example. Yes, cheese. Anatolios loves cheese, and has made it his goal to try each and every kind. Normal, smoked, commonplace, exotic - you name it, he’ll try it.

______ When Anatolios left his home den as a hatchling, he brought his art supplies and all of his paintings with him, which are either hung up in pride of place on the walls of his treetop home or else stored safely away. It helps him feel less homesick to look at the paintings of the familiar lands of his birthplace, though he knows he is always welcome to visit. His new home is certainly quite different from where he grew up, though no less beautiful in his eyes - even if other dragons might not share that opinion of the Rotrock Rim!

______ Yes, he’s been to the Wyrmwound. He got much closer than was probably wise in order to paint a picture of the Plaguebringer at work from a distance, oblivious to his presence, and was ironically oblivious himself to the presence of the Aberrations in the Wyrmwound. As this was before the Aberrations revealed themselves, he was just lucky they didn’t happen to cross paths while he was there - otherwise, he probably wouldn’t’ve made it back out.

______ Naturally, when Anatolios came back home triumphant, that feeling immediately dissapated under the sound reaming out he got from his parents for being so reckless, because hello, Wyrmwound. But hey, it was worth it in his mind. That particular painting is probably his most treasured one. Now, if he could just be able to paint the Gladekeeper…she’s said to be at the Behemoth, right? Hmm…

______ There’s a familiar glint in his eyes that his parents would rightly be worried about, if they were here. You know, why stop at two of the gods when he could paint them all? Well, not all of them - some have pretty much vanished off the face of Sornieth, but the others are known to be in certain locations. Anatolios is sure he could do it. Yeah, that sounds like a plan. Something to think about after he gets the chance to paint the Gladekeeper first.

______ Of course, no portrait of the gods could compare to those of his beloved Brynmor, or any of his children, but he wants his works to be a lasting legacy all their own. To have his paintings leave a mark on Sornieth and it’s colorful history…yes, he would be content.

______ And yet, unbeknownst to him, even as he grows his family tree, a biological clock is ticking down…and down…and down…
