once a good-natured old fisherman, who walked away from his life on the sea into the gentle swell of the deep forests rivers and lakes. He now spends his days honing his long preferred method of fly fishing, over the heavy reels and vicious hooks of the deep ocean craft.

in another life, if you were to look inside his slew of pouches, you would find numerous pictures of his beloved children, an alchemists cupboards worth of dried herbs, and every style of hand-made fly you could imagine.

a great time has passed since he last tread these paths, though their familiar curves bring a peace far deeper than he can name. The woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but he has promises to keep, and miles to go before he sleeps.
He wonders, will they still be happy to see him after so much time apart?

Link has changed in his time away, already a mellow man he has now passed into a state of complete serenity. While he will not say exactly what he saw on his journey, he returns to his family with the intent of giving all that he can to those that gave to him. He and Flare have settled in a small cottage, with plenty of space out back for games of tag and long afternoons spent in the shade. His doors are always open to wanderers, old friends, and the farthest reaches of his blooming family tree. Why not stop and stay awhile.

now, if you were to look inside his slew of pouches today, you would find a battered album thick with pictures of his family, and plenty of empty pages yet; a pair of tiny statues, one, the Gladekeeper, carved in a rich dark wood; the other, the Tidelord, hewn from delicate sandstone; and, of course, a number of hard candies too high to count.
