Hailing from Shattered Snowdrop, his clan deemed him a skychicken. Born into a matriarchy, he was seen as royalty due to his mother being the founder of his birth clan. However this led to some miscommunication, as Empedocles was looking for pure progen kids to fill the ranks required to serve the Crystal Queen.

Typically this wouldn’t be a problem, but the research conducted by the Corrupted Defilers found that pure progen kids hold stronger magics, making them worthier warriors and durable. Dr. Farrow, the leading doctor in the research concluded that pure-bloods are more in tune and able to adapt to their environments.

When his impurity was discovered by the Infected Voyagers, Empedocles was furious that the bloodline was almost diluted. Winterwings begged to stay, as surely his blood was pure enough to beneficial. He promised that his diluted line wouldn’t make him less of a mate to Thundercrack— the beautiful fae hailing from Budglet.

Close to midnight, Winterwings snuck out to see Thundercrack, hoping to convince her to secretly date him as surely she was as in love with him as he was with her. Right as he got to her wagon door, he tripped on a small rock and saw a sword fall right where he was. Terrified, he fled, knowing full well he didn’t stand a chance against Swiftshot as he hadn’t yet been trained by the deadly warrior.
