Empedocles

The first leader of the Infected Voyagers, she mainly just wandered about trying to find somewhere fun to travel around in circles, but nowhere felt right in the homeland of Noodledad. Despite this, they stayed for four years, just vibing. During this time, there were many other rulers, none of them notable. Then there was a famine, as food resources became sparse, and the Voyagers were on the brink of a civil war. For the sake of the clan, she regained control and forced everyone to follow her, so they traveled to the northern tip of the Windswept Plateau and into the The Scarred Wasteland.

Upon arriving into the Scarred Wasteland in Fall of 2019, the Voyagers stopped fighting each other, as the harsher terrain with lack of food forced everyone to cooperate, else they'd die slow, painful deaths. Unsure of where to settle, the Voyagers just kept moving in their shabby wagons. During this time, Empedocles ruled, despite hating the power. So she watched dragons within the clan, looking for the right ruler.

In Spring of 2021, Empedocles finally found a good ruler. The dragon in question was a kind and powerful mage. Her magics don't align to her born element of plague, but her earth magics brought prosperity to the Caravan of the Infected Voyagers. And her lover was just as powerful, being born in a pool of acid. The only potential rivals that could exist would have to come from the Starfall Isles. Having the perfect ruler, Empedocles ensured that Latte got the perfect coronation! Of course, Empedocles ensured that the guild Icky Sacrament would be allowed to continue their work protecting the guild, as they were the most skilled warriors.

During the summer of 2021, Dr. Farrow started his research on descendants of progens. From his experiments, he found that pure progen kids hold stronger magics, making them worthier warriors and more adaptable to a multitude of environmental factors. Farrow concluded that pure-bloods are more in tune and able to adapt to their environments. In hopes to make their caravan more prepared to take on any threat that would dare come, he put Empedocles in charge of raising the descendents and Swiftshot in charge of training.

Being so old, now at seven years during Fr’s 9th anniversary, it had been deemed time to pass the documentation task onto Tegwen. The dragon is fiercer and ready to seek out new adventures which is exactly what this clan of travelers crave.
