progen-pair-Cotinus-Alina.png 		Cotinus and his brothers, Almond and Udon, were greeted into a world full of love, joy and excitement. They were the first large and healthy clutch of Conch and Basic, who had struggled so much trying to have a family. These brothers represented a turning point: their lineage would now be a long and healthy one, just as they had wished for.

Cotinus is the more solitary of the three, content to wander on his own into the woodland. He can never quite see eye-to-eye with Udon, who is a much more gregarious dragon, and Almond, the smallest but first to hatch, is often the one that gets them to make up after any arguments. Despite their differences, Cotinus would do anything for his brothers, and loves them very much.

He met the beautiful Alina on his wanderings, a soft and gentle light in the dark night, and was instantly smitten. They are a well matched pair, both quiet and introverted but confident.

His mother was rather embarrissing in her excitement in being introduced to Alina, and when their children hatched, Cotinus had difficulty separating his parents from them.
