As a hatchling, Almond was the stronger than his brothers, Cotinus and Udon, despite being the smallest. This changed as they grew, and they continued to do so long beyond himself. He took comfort in his older sister, Asche, who was very similar to him. She had been a lone egg and a weak hatching, but had grown into a strong, proud and energetic dragon.

When not mediating conflicts between his brothers, Almond likes to spend time with Asche as she tinkers around their lair, finding and making things. Her mate, Ghee, treats Almond as if he were his own little brother.

Some might laugh at the picture he makes with his mate CampFyre, a large and beautiful Guardian (Udon certainly did), but they had grown up together and had always supported one another. She is kind, gentle and exceptionally caring. Almond knows she will make a fantastic mother and that he's very lucky to have her.
