The Shy Hunter

SUMMARY
Born to Black and Aion, Sunveil was raised in a loving if colorful family. Sunveil was close to his nestmates, but unlike his siblings he was rather shy and reserved. While Blackfish and Redspine went to train with the Silver Serac, Sunveil chose to stay at his home with the rest of his family. He found himself enjoying the quiet days spent hunting in the forest and plains on the isles, and so became a hunter.

A shy and insecure dragon, Sunveil prefers to spend his time alone, with his family, or with his few friends. Although a skilled hunter, Sunveil rarely gets recognition for his talent because he chronically underestimates his own ability. He's skilled at navigating the wilds, and knows much about his prey. While largely awkward around others, underneath it all Sunveil is a skilled hunter with a gentle heart who loves his friends and family.
HISTORY
Sunveil received the more reserved aspects of his parents, always cautious where his siblings were eager. He preferred to spend his days exploring quietly, rather than trying to break rules or find adventure. When his father and mother went off on the raiding trips, he would spend his days worrying while his siblings excitedly wondered what their parents would bring them. It came to no surprise to his family when he decided to stay in clan Rivensong, but nonetheless they encouraged him to find his own path.

With the encouragement of his family, especially his aunt Sabbath, Sunveil spent more and more time doing what he loved. He came to understand the wildlife in the open spaces of the Isles well, and over time grew to be a good hunter. The skills came slowly to him at first but a quiet determination led to him growing quite accomplished over time. He has hunted all kinds of quarry, but you will be hard pressed to get Sunveil to brag about his most difficult hunts.

Sunveil will spend days, even weeks, alone in the wilds of the Welkin Isles. He enjoys these trips and will go out as often as possible. When not processing his kills, he spends time with his family and few friends while he is in town. He is one of many dragons who helps to hunt for meat, but Sunveil is by far the most dedicated and best of them all- despite his own underestimation of his skill.
