With a trapper for their ma and a herbalist for their pa, it’s no wonder that the children of Annan and Cernnunos are often drawn to the forest themselves. They’re raised among the branches of the Forgotten Woods, taught to live with the changing nature of the forest instead of in fear of it.

Often, these dragons find themselves most comfortable with trees and silence for company, pursuing the work of crafters and foragers - good, solid work done with the body and the heart. Despite their love for their parents, they often travel far from home, looking for their own patch of solitude to settle down in.

Nights in Dragonhome can get frightfully cold, and under the unnatural, sheltering boughs of the Forgotten Woods, this holds doubly true. The family would trade for hanks of wool in Tenebris Grove, or from the occasional trader who braved the canyon, but rare market trips and even rarer traveling merchants meant that knitted winter garments were precious and few. At least until Molle grew old enough to knit. As a hatchling, she watched her parents knitting for hours, peppering them with questions. Soon as she was able, her mother sat her down and showed her the basics, and she was off. Now the whole family is well supplied with charmingly cabled scarves and noticeably less lumpy sweaters, and Molle sells her extra creations at market or sends them to her scattered siblings. She dreams now, as she reaches adulthood, of tending her own sheep to spin her own yarn, but she’ll have to trek out of the canyon for that -- hard to tend sheep in a forest full of creatures waiting to eat them.
