After surviving a series of unfortunate events- first his egg being stolen from his mother's nest, to being taken and held for ransom by talonok, a Lone Serthis came along and returned his egg to the nest. He could have been some guy's Breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Blech! His savior was never found, but his would be "cook" was- so, in a twist of irony, he was named after his would be killer. A reminder of just how much of a failure the Talonok cheff was. In another ironic twist, Wellingham grew up to be an accomplished cheff!

After hearing about the Grocery games from Mika and Sky, Wellingham the Deathclaw has made it a tradition to see the games in person. Unfortunately for him, Vibria *also* herd about the games and *also* wishes to see them in person.
