You can smell delightful aromas in the air, yet their origin is yet to be seen. Several ushers await you, helping others to their spots on the blackened stone and direct you to the perfect viewing spot of the arena below.  You can barely make out some shapes, but you can distinctly see the sheen of several Shadow dragons’ eyes peering from within the shroud, keeping the event hidden from view until the it begins. There is an excited hum from the dragons around you, each whispering to the other about what they thought this event would be like.  You’ve heard the rumors; Fire dragons have embraced their region’s specialty in cooking and have expanded their search to introduce the best chefs in Sornieth to a set of cooking competitions. “This isn’t just [i]any[/i] competition,” you hear one male tundra speak behind you to an excited pearlcatcher nearby, “This is [i]Geyser’s Grocery Games![/i] This isn’t [i]just[/i] about cooking!” he emphasizes with a sly grin. “These chefs have to prove themselves in the midst of the audience - that’s us! - with real time bribes and sabotages! No matter the chef’s skill, we are the ones who get to decide who wins at the end of the week!” The pearlcatcher giggles and embraces their perfectly shined pearl as they nod frivolously, “Oh, yes, that’s right! I’ve heard these events in the past were quite explosive! So much so, their events have been so intense that Geyser himself finished the competition! So exciting!” You direct your attention back to the arena with renewed curiosity and wonder, and you are rewarded with obscure shapes skittering around the darkness.  Suddenly, a heavy chuckle erupts from behind you! Each day, our three chefs will work with your help to create a dish for the theme of the meal, and they will be ranked from best to worst. Audience participation is an essential, time-honored component of Geyser's Grocery Games! Feel free to [b]support[/b] your favorite chef, [b]sabotage[/b] your least favorite, and [b]bribe the judge[/b] to help your competitor win! You can even do all of the above for all of the chefs - Geyser won't stop you! [b]It's encouraged, even, if you want all of the badges![/b] There are five rounds - meat, seafood, plant, insect, and desserts - which will begin on Monday, October 23rd. Rounds last one day, so supports, sabotages, and bribes must be received during that FR day to count for that specific day. A round lasts from 00:30 FR time through to 23:59 FR time. Even if we haven't posted the day's round intro, you can still cast your supports, sabotages, and bribes for that day. We will use the time stamps on the messages to determine which day it is. Known to possess a large cauldron that glares with gleaming teeth and moving eyes, no one truly knows what (or who) she deems worth cooking for in that large cauldron of hers, let alone what makes its shifting gaze move with an...uncanny liveliness. Prizing oddities and decidedly dark additions to ones meals, Babayaga might as much cook her competition as offer them a meal.
