The Fire Flight is celebrating our annual Flameforger’s Festival, and I’m here to share with you a spectacular event, showcasing Fire’s best trait; Our affinity for cooking! I am your host, Geyser, and I am proud to present you with a special event in honor of our deity, the Flamecaller! Dragons from far and wide come to compete and taste our culinary creations, and we offer you a chance to show off your own love with cooking; For your Denmates, your clan guard, your allies, your deities; For everyone! I am Happy to Announce that we have three new chefs this week, including our very first Apprentice chef! That’s right, one of our new Obelisk brethren has shown up on stage and you know what that means! Time to put his will to the test! This week, our brand new chefs will take on challenging, breathtaking, and shocking ordeals from you! Yes, that's right, the audience participates just as much as our talented chefs here, so I hope you are prepared for the sweet and savory event before you! [Color=darkred]Here at Geyser's Grocery Games, we will get to witness, cheer, bribe, and smear three brilliant competitors as they cook, toil, and potentially chase pesky familiars in our studio kitchen! We always strive to bring you something special and new with each installment of Grocery Games, and this month we've decided to take you backstage with us as we interview competitors and staff associated with the events with each round of judging regarding why they cook! While there isn't any official promises that we'll be able to accommodate audience questions in future events, feel free to submit questions directed at current and past competitors and event staff. Who knows - maybe Spark and Spanspek will actually pass them on! Each day, our three chefs will work with your help to create a dish for the theme of the meal, and they will be ranked from best to worst. In this they will be judged for:[/color] [center]- Quality - Effort - Quantity and - Edibility![/center] [color=darkred]Don't worry; if your favorite chef has a moment of lapse for one day, they're not out of the running! No actual insects, animals, creatures of the sea, or desserts were harmed in the making of this production or thread (except our pun testers who were graciously paid). Feel free to [b]support[/b] your favorite chef, [b]sabotage[/b] your least favorite, and [b]bribe the judge[/b] to help your competitor win! You can even do all of the above for all of the chefs - Geyser won't stop you! There are five rounds - meat, seafood, plant, insect, and desserts - which will begin on Monday, August 23rd. Rounds last one day, so supports, sabotages, and bribes must be received during that FR day to count for that specific day. A round lasts from 00:30 FR time through to 23:59 FR time. Even if we haven't posted the day's round intro, you can still cast your supports, sabotages, and bribes for that day. We will use the time stamps on the messages to determine which day it is. [emoji=meat size=1] [b]Supports[/b] are accomplished by sending one of the prime ingredients from the round to your chosen chef. Supports will [i]add one, three or five points[/i] to a competitor's score, with higher-tier ingredients being worth more points. [emoji=seafood size=1] [b]Sabotages[/b] are achieved by sending any special sabotages listed - to a competitor. They're working so fast they won't even notice! Sabotages [i]subtract one point[/i] from a competitor's overall score for the round. [emoji=plant size=1] [b]Bribes[/b] are performed by handing Geyser a sack of pure treasure or gems with your competitor's name on it. Geyser is quite busy, so will only take bribes in 10k treasure or 10 gem increments. Every increment of bribe will [i]add 5 points[/i] to the competitor's score. [emoji=insect size=1] Complete a Sous Chef Form and PM it to @Reithya or @Falconair with the proper materials. Forms do not need to be posted in this thread. Multiple forms can be submitted in one PM; So you can support, sabotage or bribe all in one. There are no limits to the number of forms you can submit per day.
