Citrine's the clan's self-appointed Head of Finance. As the manager of the Tabemono's assets—including the elusive Clan Wellness Fund—all project and event proposals go through him. Pros? He crunches numbers impeccably fast, all in his head. Cons? He's a nightmare to work with. There's nothing he loves more than giving a good strong veto. Small-clan life isn't what younger Cit saw for himself. He had grander visions of grabbing drinks with investors and graphing cryptocurrency trends. Instead, he records the clan's imports and exports and holds monthly budget meetings. Every mundane day, Cit swears he'll hand in his resignation letter. He's still here, though; this slipshod clan needs him. Who would track profit margins and suggest price adjustments if he left? Outside of business dealings, Cit is a surprisingly good listener—for a guy who comes off as such a hothead, anyway. He'll take a long sip his gin and tonic and then ask which you'd prefer, a shoulder pat or advice. Both the pat and the advice are brief but helpful. That said, holding grudges is practically this guy's hobby. Betray him once and he's done with you. Steal a fry? You're dead to him. Ask Cit about romance and he'll snap that he's married to his ledger. Mysteriously, though, his stormy moods clear up when Fade's merchant caravan floats into town. Savvy clan members time their Clan Wellness Funding requests with Fade's stay. Cit's generous moods don't last. |
