You'll find no dragon among those in the Highland Refuge as multitalented as Fade. Silver-tongued and shrewd, Fade is one of those dragons who radiates charisma and makes you want to listen to him even if he is speaking of something quite mundane. He could likely capture your attention while reading the most boring of texts, and you'd gladly listen until he tires and decides to move on to something else. Fade is characterized by effortless confidence and the ability to put those around him at ease by simply existing, and he does not make you feel as though you should revere him due to his place within the Highland Refuge. Truth be told, he would have been a truly skilled diplomat had he not chosen another path.

As he was he first dragon brought into the clan from outside; Fade holds a certain status in the halls of the Refuge. His age means he is one of the original members and among those few who helped restore the central ruins around which the rest of the Refuge has grown and thus is recognized as part of the Elder Council. Fade himself brought commerce and trade back into the clan as a very young dragon, which is why he is occasionally referred to as a Merchant Prince. He does not come from a line of silver-tongued traders; he has founded his own.

Currently Fade runs a large caravan group, the Silver Desire, with his daughter Kadere which makes a circuit of Sornieth in three trips per year- in four month periods he spends two with the caravan and the remaining month at the Refuge managing commerce. When Fade tries to sell a product, he never has to rely on shiftier means. He's good at seeing what people need before they do. And, if the prices are a bit higher than usual, that's okay too.
