Despite being rather nervous in nature, Silver is one of the guards of the Clan and one of the most hard-working out of the guards. He is very eager to gain approval from other dragons and is quick to dishearten should someone give him destructive criticism. But he always bounces back again. He's very conscious about the fact that his plumage is dull and of various shades of grey, as well as his eyes showing that he is born of the Shadow flight. Fortunately, most dragons are very accepting of him despite these traits and he feels at home in the Southwind Clan. The fact that he does all he can to defend the Clan is not only because he seeks approval: it's his home now. While the acceptance of his fellow clanmates are a big reason to why he stays, the main reason is because he has fallen for the beautiful Coatl Ophelia. He thinks she's the sweetest and most beautiful dragon he has ever met. Sadly, he's scared of admitting his feelings for her. He's also scared that her adopted mother wouldn't approve of their relationship.

Silver was born in darkness, beneath the gnarled vines of Foxfire Bramble in the Tangled Wood. But he wasn't allowed to stay for very long. Having been born with grey colors from parents who do not sharing the same coloration, he was seen as a sign of bad luck and was exiled from his home at a young age. From that day on, Silver had to survive a lot on his own. He left Foxfire Bramble, not without gaining quite a lot of scratches from the thorns of the vines, to travel around in search of a new home. While he traveled, he did find shelter with some Clans as he traveled but he never stayed for long. Even if few treated him badly due to his plumage or affiliation with the Shadow flight, the few times those attributes did cause him to be mistreated was burned into his mind.

As time passed, he eventually ended up traveling through the Southern Icefields and took shelter in a small Clan known as the Southwind. There.. he met the beautiful Ophelia. That was when he felt that he didn't want to travel around anymore. Despite him feeling inadequate, he asked to stay and was granted a place in the Clan as one of their guards.

Now he spends most of his time patrolling the area to ensure that no threat is near the Clan. His free time is spent being with Ophelia and the few friends he has gained during his time here. He's scared to confess his feelings for Ophelia, thinking that she would never get together with someone like him, but one day he hopes that he will find the courage to let her know how he truly feels.

Noticeable relationships:

Seeing her as the most beautiful and most wonderful Coatl he has ever seen, Silver is in love with Ophelia but is scared to confess to her. They are good friends and often spend their free time together.

Silver is scared of Apholith, as he can't tell what the Guardian is thinking of him and a potential relationship with Ophelia. He's also scared of her incredible strength and prowess in battle. At the same time, he has a lot of respect for her and hopes to gain her approval.

Hellebore is another dragon he's nervous around, mainly due to the appearance of the weakened Guardian. But Hellebore is a gentle dragon who is very supportive of Silver and Ophelia. He tries to encourage the two to be together, in a subtle manner.

Aldwyn is a good friend of Ophelia and a rather jolly dragon, who's vibrant color running through his dark plumage could make many Coatls jealous. Aldwyn often gives Ophelia flowers and Silver sees that as him having feelings for Ophelia as well. As a result, Silver can be rather withdrawn around Aldwyn.

Despite Silver being not very fond of Aldwyn, he is good friends with Aldwyn's assistant, Irwing. The Nocturne is a nervous dragon as well and the two of them can relate to each other quite a lot. Irwing is supportive of Silver's feelings for Ophelia.

Trivia:

• His body actually has many scars hidden beneath the thick layers of feathers on his body, gained from his youth as he tried to survive on his own.
• While not having problems with his sight as a hatchling, Silver has grown to need glasses as an adult because he has become slightly far-sighted. He could go without them but he fears that he might do a mistake if he doesn't wear them. In a way, the glasses has become a source of comfort for him.
• He used to carry quite a lot of equipment and resources on him, and some of the old equipment still rests in his part of the lair. He has been meaning to throw it out but hasn't been able to part with it.
