Biography

Coliseum Challenges
Here I've gathered all the coliseum challenges I stumbled upon.
Some fit for short coli trips and others for the heavy grinders (like me lol).
I wrote each challenge its TL:DR, in case the original gets deleted, but you can access the original entry by clicking on the OP's username. By no means I take credit for any of the challenges, except for my own made challenges which you can view near the bottom.
If you know of a coliseum quest/ challenge that isn't in the list, please share it with me so I can add it to the compellation!
lightbottom2.png

General Rules
lightmid2.png
- Begin the challenge in any venue of your choice, or start from the Training Fields and continue up the levels.

- You can pause your progress in a certain venue and move to a different venue to start a new task, but the challenge won't be completed until all tasks in all venues are completed.

- If you completed the task in a venue, you don't have to return to that venue until the whole challenge is completed.

- Record any “interesting” loot that you’ve collected:
- Familiars
- Apparel
- Chests and crates
- Battle items
- Speciality items
- Eggs
- Optional: 5 or 6 stars rarity items

- No need to restart the challenge or the task if the whole party died, or you quit midway.

- It's okay to take a break from the current challenge to start another (like festival challenges), but the progress from the new challenge won't be counted for the previous challenge.

lightmid2.png

Quick and/or Easy Challenges
Challenges that can take up to an hour per venue, if the RNG gods desire it to be.
lightmid2.png

10 Drops Challenge
By @Zyxx

Hard mode
These are not considered rare drops: venue chests (exceptions: broadleaf pack, glimmerscale basket, canvas sack, longneck pack, feather pouch, pearly shell), health/ minor health potions, slashes, bolts, bolsters/ wards/ reflects, and acuity/ might fragments.

lightmidsmall2.png

Tricolor Challenge
By @XStormywolfX

- Pick 3 colors (ex. Blue, yellow, red)
- Stay in the venue until you collect three items of the colors you chose

Additional Rules:
- You can change the colors for each venue
- You can pick more than three colors to make the challenge longer

lightmidsmall2.png

Trial of the Hunter Challenge
By @SymphonyOfIce

- Tactics: 1 point per battle item obtained.
- Preparedness: 1 point per apparel item obtained.
- Glory: 1 point per any chest, crate or an egg found.

lightmid2.png

Tame Challenges
Challenges that could take quite a while until completion, but they're not too difficult to follow. Some have difficulty tiers so heavy grinders might also find them entertaining.
lightmid2.png

Randomizer Rumble Challenge
By @Limanya

This challenge has four tiers, in each you'll need a random number generator to determine the type of enemy you must defeat and the amount of defeats needed to complete the challenge.

Tier 1 - you'll generate the species of the enemy (horses, fish, birds, etc.) Venue-flexible.
Tier 2 - you'll generate the species and the location (Scorpions in the Sandswept Delta, Wavehoppers in the Redrock Cove, Dodos in the Harpy's Roost, etc.)
Tier 3 - you'll generate a specific enemy (Chimera, Hainu, Noggle, etc.) Venue-flexible in some cases.
Tier 4 - you'll have to generate a specific boss enemy.

Crim's Dirty Thirty Challenge
By @PastCat

The goal is to collect at least one of each coli item to offer for Crim (use coliseum venues encyclopedia pages and my missing venues guide to know what to collect in each venue). There are five levels for this challenge:

Level 1 - stay exactly 30 minutes in each venue and try to collect at least one of every common food, material and trinket drops. Optional: also include common boss drops.
Level 2 - collect 5 of each common food, material and trinket drops.
Level 3 - collect 10 of each common food, material and trinket drops.
Level 4 - collect 25 of each common food, material and trinket drops.

lightmidsmall2.png

Big Boss Battle Challenge
By @Figmentling

Start from the Blooming Grove, and battle until you encounter a boss enemy. If you win - you move to the next venue. If you lose or the boss doesn't drop loot, you must keep fighting. When you defeat the boss in the Forbidden Portal and it drops loot, you start over at Blooming Grove.

- Quick mode: when one familiar drops, remove the venue from the rotation.
- Easy mode: after 5 familiars of different enemies drop, remove the venue from the rotation.
- Hard Mode: once all familiars - excluding bosses - drop, remove the venue from the rotation.
- Original (very difficult!) mode: once all the familiars - including bosses - drop, remove that venue from your rotation.

Challenge ends when you're out of venues.
