This month, we're celebrating the Shadow Dragons of the Tangled Wood. They prefer to be capricious and fickle, like the flickering shadows they manipulate.. Like always, one can complete a venue by finding an Unhatched Egg. In celebration of Shadow, the optional pass item this month is x20 food items (any). From the Training Fields to the Forbidden Portal, you'll take on each venue until you reach the requirements to move onto the next. If you've stayed two hours in a venue, and still have not met the requirements, you are free to move on to the next. There are several different modes for this challenge, and you are free to do any mode you choose. Each mode has their own rules, so pick carefully! [b]Blitz Mode[/b] [indent]- Spend only 30 minutes in a venue unless you meet the item requirements for Normal Mode to move on. Perfect for those short on time![/indent] [b]Normal Mode[/b] [indent]- Stick with a venue until you find a Trickmurk Skin Chest, x50 currency or the monthly pass item (located in the second paragraph). If these conditions are not met, move to the next venue after 2 hours.[/indent] [b]Hard Mode:[/b] [indent]- Grind each venue until you get x2 Trickmurk Skin Chests and x75 currency items. Not for the faint of heart, this mode ignores how much time you've spent in a venue.[/indent] [b]Extreme Mode:[/b] [indent]- Grind each venue until you get x3 Trickmurk Skin Chests AND x100 currency items.[/indent] [b]Nightmare Mode:[/b] [indent]- Stay in a venue until you gain x5 Trickmurk Skin chests AND x150 currency items![/indent] [u][b]When you start, please ping me to let me know you're starting the challenge. YOU WILL NOT GET ADDED TO THE PARTICIPANTS LIST OTHERWISE!![/b][/u] While going through each venue, you'll post any notable loot you pick up. This includes currency, familiars, battle items, containers, apparel, and chests! Glad to spread the word. Prizes would probably do a lot to help participation (or at least visible participation). I am really terrible at recording results because it really doesn't mean anything, but I have come pretty close to completing some of these lately! Maybe charge a small entry fee to help fund some prizes? Or maybe people could contribute a prize to participate? I know I would be willing to contribute.

Let me know when you have this month's thread completed, and I will make a post for you in my monthly raffle.

PS - It might help to have one permanent thread for the Festival Coli challenge that would remain the same from month to month. I know it would probably get really big, but then we might be able to make some sort of signature badge (or at least have a consistent link to visit).

@Phenri just coordinated a couple scavenger hunt raffles. One is posted here. If you wanted to make a ticket-based system, you might want to contact them as they created an *amazing* spreadsheet to help automatically track everything. (Otherwise, it seems like it would just be a ton of work to do manually and no fun at all for you.) My copy is here.

No worries, you're great. That Idea is Amazing. Sometimes I haven't had time to post what I get, then it's over. I did blitz one and a half times last time. lol, the first time I got an egg out of the coli in years. I will be doing blitz this holiday too.

Snaptrap did a year of amazing raffles a couple of years ago, she might have pointers on calculating items to tickets if you go that route. I like doing that I'm a hoarder on here, so got plenty of items to throw in. :D


edit: my daughter said to get more trafic for this is to post on Tumblr, there is a huge community presence there.

Just a quick clarification, @Peyp is the one who's the spreadsheet wrangler, I didn't create the sheet, I mostly just host the thread/event and send out very delayed prizes :D

As a note for feedback for this event, badges can also go a looong way, having just one or two can be a great boon! At least in Plague, people are hungry for badges.

@Mediscoot I’ve sent it to a server to advertise (only that no one checks that channel) but can I do normal mode this time? I have dominance this fest so I can snipe down a whole set of skins for the raffle?
