GullQuill
Scribe, Explorer and Mapmaker

Like her mate, SquidInk, GullQuill dyes her wings and claws to show her profession of scribe; however, at a desk scribbling is the last thing you shall see her doing. With a wanderlust and short attention span worthy of her breed and Flight, she is more often riding the winds and waves searching for new places and things than sitting and writing in dark wet caves.

As she wanders, she messily records maps and notes about the locations- from food resources to enemies to the flora and fauna of the land. She uses both her bird companions (Shu the TradeWinds Gull and Chirp the Percher) to scout the land and help find hidden treasures and lay of the land. Her previous familiar, a Crowned Roc named Kiwi, left to nest in Lightning- though the big bird does occasionally come back to see her. She wears his feather's proudly in memory of him. GullQuill has a great fondness for birds in general, and has a habit of collecting feathers and nests. She occasionally deposits these treasures along with her notes into SquidInk's lap with a kiss and then she is off again to explore the world.

Along with her two feathery companions, another explorer has joined her in their adventures: WildWander . The duo is often dubbed the "Double Trouble", as they both have boundless energy and curiosity, which often leads to sticky situations. But with enthusiasm and good fortune, the pair has been able to escape danger again and again with their scales... mostly intact.

In terms of business, she has become a colleague with the industrious PolarCurrent . In return for her maps and knowledge, which he copies and sells to tourists, he uses part of the treasure to purchase more books for SquidInk's library.

"Now where am I again? *chirps* No I am not lost! I know exactly where I am...well maybe not but if I look over my maps again we will figure it out!"
