B I O G R A P H Y

______ Seven is a highly intelligent and logical dragon, likely to think before acting unless put into dire circumstances. He's interested in technology and robotics and frequently looks into ways to enhance himself to create one of the first proper cyborg dragons. He's very protective of AC and will defend her viciously. He and Kyir get along well and often work together.

______ Seven was born in the Shifting Expanse under the name Pindaric, one in a clutch of three. He hatched last, behind his brother Diamante and sister Senryu, to a nocturne father and a coatl mother. They were a part of no clan, although Seven never learned why before everything fell apart. His family wandered to the northern edge of the Shifting Expanse once the hatchlings were old enough to travel in search of a potential home among the lightning and sands.

Unfortunately, that's not what happened.

______ A crazed ridgeback dragon saw their family's presence as trespassing and was overcome with anger, attacking them and killing the hatchlings' mother. Their father took them and escaped, overcome with grief and refusing to speak or even clean his mate's blood off of his or his offspring's scales. The next morning, Seven and his siblings awoke to find their father gone, left to serve the Stormcatcher.

They were alone.

______ Seven and his siblings, scared and barely old enough to fend for themselves, made their way north into the Sunbeam Ruins. Unfortunately, the Hewn City is along the Light-Lightning border, and this is what the hatchlings unknowingly stumbled into. Seven doesn't have good memory of their short time in the Hewn City, but he remembers that his brother died first, his wings ripped from his body and scales turned to ash as he and his sister ran, ran for the light away from the ruins. They were pursued, but emerged alive, if wounded.

______ They were eventually found by a pair of imperials, who nursed them back to health and warned them of the dangers of the ruins they had barely managed to escape from. As they were nocturnes, the imperials suggested that they make their way to the Tangled Wood, home of the Shadowbinder. They followed the imperials' advice and quickly found themselves at home, hidden in the darkness. Unfortunately, without anyone to look after them, they quickly ran into trouble after only a month amongst the darkness.

______ A territorial clan, mistaking the two for members of another clan, attacked them, wounding Seven and killing his sister. In his rage at losing his only remaining family member, he electrocuted and killed an adult guardian dragon, shocking the clan long enough for him to make his escape. He fled to the Viridian Labyrinth, hiding in the Shrieking Wilds until he was strong enough to venture confidently out into the world, changing his name to Seven. He silently craved company but shrugged off all offers of it from every dragon he encountered, preferring to take the world on alone.

After all, everyone else that had stayed by his side had died before his eyes, coating his silver scales with their blood.

______ Seven eventually made his way to the Scarred Wasteland, cautious of its dangers but curious about what scientific advancements could be made by studying it. He found a curious nocturne, named AbioticCarnage, along the edge of the Wandering Contagion. She quickly became interested in him, asking about his research and following him around. When he finally left, deciding to make his way back to his birthplace in the Shifting Expanse, she followed, and they have been inseparable ever since. AC, as she has come to be called, has been invaluable to his research of plague dragons and helps him out with whatever else he chooses to work on, encouraging him when he gets frustrated and providing a second pair of eyes to watch for danger.

______ They heard rumors of a clan full of oddities that held a brilliant, if obnoxious, ridgeback named Kyir who worked primarily with mechanics. These rumors drew Seven and AC to Klaeod's clan, and there they stayed, settling in quickly and making a name for themselves amongst the sands.

______ Seven has worked as a highly skilled engineer alongside Kyir for many years. Several other engineers have joined him, including his son Varric. He has been happier than he has ever been, here, in the Shifting Expanse, in a clan that does not question that which it does not believe to be worth understanding. True, sometimes the chaos can be frustrating or irritating, but he lives with it, content to work alongside Kyir.

______ Until they were betrayed. One of his daughters, Nyrathla, was instrumental in the month-long Insidious occupation. During this time, she led to the deaths of many of her siblings, the imprisonment and emotional torture of AC, and the interrogation and near-death of Seven himself. Something snapped in him the night of the attack, and fell away into the abyss he carved in his heart when he abandoned his old identity. Since the rescue, he has worked tirelessly to find Nyrathla, find her and make her pay. He works on engineering projects for the clan, but only those he considers vital and useful for bringing down the Insidious, the greatest individual threat that the clan has ever faced.
