Fyria

It was a dreary, cold night. In a faraway lair, a few dragons were gathered around an unhatched egg. Little bolts of lightning pulsed through the unborn child. Suddenly, a loud rumble of thunder drummed through the sky, startling the elder dragons. They all scrambled for cover, leaving the egg unattended, and unprotected. A huge, pure white lightning bolt burst from the churning sky, striking the center of the momentarily abandoned egg. Zaps of high voltage electricity wrapped themselves around the egg, causing it to vibrate violently.
Less than a minute later, all the burning electricity faded away. The egg cracked down the center, each side, revealing a weak, injured nocturne. The dragon mewled pitifully, taking a few steps forward before collapsing on its side, unconscious
Fyria is the baby of the lair. Her ordeal while still unhatched has caused her to have weird markings cover the entirety of her small body, except parts of her stomach. The affects of the lightning bolt have caused her to be unable to grow, causing her to be a baby forever.
It was quickly discovered that her odd markings and underdevelopment would not be widely accepted in the clan. She was also absolutely terrified of the lightning, which was a problem, as it was ever present in her old home. So, the decision was made to remove her from the clan, and take her to a new home.
She now resides in this icy, yet cozy, lair. The only storms she has to worry about here are blizzards, but they don't bother her. She loves to frolic through the powdery snow, lick up falling flakes and making snow dragons wherever possible. The lack of violent sunshine makes things easier on her vulnerable scales, enabling her to enjoy the outdoors even more. She is considered the cutest member of the clan, all the older members often telling her that her unique markings are an asset, not a hindrance.
She may have a small body, but she has a big heart, and it's full of love for her new family.

Months later, a sibling born not long after her traveled for days, seeking Fyria out. Crisuix had been told tales of her older sister, who had suffered with being caught in storm before even being hatched. She felt an overwhelming urge to seek out the dragon, so when she was old enough, she left her clan and traveled to the icy fields Fyria was rumored to be living at. Crisuix was accepted gladly into the clan, and Fyria was happy to be united with a family member who accepted her.
