B I O G R A P H Y

______ Nineteen was born to AbioticCarnage and Seven, many years ago before the Plague of Plague or the Insidious ever appeared. He was their nineteenth child, and whatever name he was given at birth, he has long forgotten. He took to calling himself Nineteen when he struck out from the clan at a young age, seeking to find new shoes to fill as he never wished to be compared to his many siblings, especially not his prodigy clutchmate, Varric. He journeyed all the way to the Starfall Isles, and met a dragon named Dana who invited him into her clan, or Coven, as she called it. He accepted, and found himself in a place of wonder and unusual colors, bright dragons and neon outfits.

______ It just wasn't right. Some dragons, those of unknown parentage or no parentage at all, lorded this fact over the others. One by one, the other regular dragons left, until it was just Nineteen in a crowd of strange dragons. He felt bulky and awkward - he was the only ridgeback, having taken the form many years prior to remind himself of where he had come from - and like an unspoken lower member of society. His tenuous connection to his family grew ever more strained, until he got a series of terrifying and concerning letters from his sister Chromegaze. Many of their siblings were dead, the clan was at war, and their parents had lost their minds.

______ Nineteen debated for over a year until after the Insidious struck a second time, killing more of their siblings. This time, Chromegaze described the horrible acts of their traitor sister, Nyrathla, and begged him to come home. He gathered his things, said goodbye to Dana, and flew back to the Shifting Expanse as quickly as his sweeping wings could carry him. When he arrived, he was greeted by a few of his remaining siblings and some of the older clan members, but most of the rest didn't recognize him. He settled into the workshop, hoping to make some difference, but found his skills rusty and lacking. What passed for incredible Lightning ingenuity in the Starfall Isles was child's play here. With an even more distant father and an insane clutchmate, Nineteen feared that he would always be behind. However, Klossowski approached the strange ridgeback, asking if he wanted lessons - he knew that he, himself, had been a little lost when coming into Kyir's workshop. Gratefully, Nineteen accepted, and he has become Klossowski's apprentice.
