SOLACE

Solace is a clan of misfits. Led by Gamzee, a former servant of the Arcanist, Solace welcomes dragons of all manner of pasts. Many dragons of shady origins find comfort and purpose in the clan’s ethos of truth and beauty in research and stories.

A conservatory, filled to the brim with both talented artists and blooming flora, is the focal point of Solace’s territory. The archives and laboratory reside in the belowground floors of the domed glass building, serving as a work space and meeting rooms for the academically inclined.

Another fixture defines the power of Solace, holding the barracks that are home to the clan’s protectors, and something more. The dragons of Solace are welcoming, but not naïve. While every dragon who asks is offered a home within Solace, the Deep is a prison of sorts, serving as quarters for the volatile members of the clan. Though treated with dignity and given comfortable lives, residents of the Deep are not free to leave or wander the territory. The safety of the whole clan greatly outweighs the freedoms of a few members.
