History
- - - Much of Gamzee's past is shrouded in mystery, and he chooses not to reveal any of it, focusing more on his present. However, the younger members of the clan have uncovered many rumors. The most sensational casts him as a former student of the Arcanist; exalted to bring glory to his former clan, to serve his deity. He learned much during his service, but yearned for more, for a greater satisfaction than exaltation. He looked not for glory but knowledge, and was able to plead with the Arcanist to gain partial freedom from his service, with the promise to return often and report on what he learned. However, when he returned to his former clan, he was met with sneers and cast out, for his return implied dishonor. They asked what horrible deed he had committed to have fallen from favor, and the speculation quickly grew out of hand. He was called a murderer, a thief, and worse, though none were true. Solitary, he soon resolved to form his own clan, a haven for those who were outcast or abandoned. He would welcome everyone, whether the rumors that followed them were true or not. And so he did this, birthing the clan that he still leads today. A tiny fae, fallen from the pedestal he had been placed on by his former clan, earning the respect of all manners of different dragons.

Personality
- - - Gamzee, like most faes, has a monotone voice and lackluster expressions. This can make him seem rather aloof and even imposing to outsiders of the clan (despite his diminutive size), although residents of his domain know him as a goofball and a big softie. He always gives second chances, and is willing to turn the other cheek to many less-than-legal occurrences, though when real harm is threatened, he draws the line. Gamzee is highly protective of his clan against former adversaries and new foes, although he does prefer to form alliances rather than threaten battle. He is a quick study and though he is not fully in the service of the Arcanist anymore, he tries to absorb as much information as he can from his clanmates for his own gain and to report back to his deity.

Relationships
- - - Erica: Gamzee's mate, and the dragon who helped him establish his haven. He nearly lost her one time and since has become fiercely protective, not wanting for her to slip from him again.
- - - Hazael: Gamzee treats Hazael much like he would a son, having rescued him as a hatchling. When he needs a break, he will visit Haz and the hatchlings he watches over to simply play and forget for a while.
- - - Rainwater: Gamzee's commander and closest confidante. While Gamzee tries to keep his clan out of trouble, sometimes war is necessary, and Rainwater helps him to make difficult decisions.
