I wonder if the staff took this idea for Opal? Not quite the same but similar. I think that means they won't make this one now (too similar), which is a shame - this one is beautiful.

Similar to leopard appaloosa horse or a dalmatian dog pattern. As a tertiary gene this would have a lot of versatility. It would be best used over the less busy genes like basic, iridescent/shimmer, metallic/alloy, crystal/facet, and speckle/freckle, and would give a wide variety of looks depending how much the tertiary color blended or contrasted with other colors. It would also create some interesting looks when combined with the other genes, most notably poison/toxin, giraffe/hex, ripple/current, and clown.

Saw something similar suggested in the Primary Gene Suggestion post but I thought it would work better as a tertiary gene.
What about something called Bioluminence based off deep sea fish? With little lights running along the dragon's body. A bit like spines. And with lights along the wings? I think that would be pretty cool
