I thought a king crab could be cool. They look awful but not all the familiars need to be cute and cuddly. King crabs are also something one can easily make many variations of: Baldwin, Swipp, Coli, why not a really regal-looking from gem marketplace? They're thought to have same ancestor with hermit crabs so that's one possible ingredient/tradeable. Here's a pic-link for more (if needed) refrence:

How about more monsters that are humanoid in our mythology? I loved how you put together the goblins! Goblins are quite human-like in mythology but you were able to blend them perfectly into the world of Flight Rising without making them a beastclan! It's a difficult task and I really respect your talent to do such things. I'd love to see more familiars and coli-foes like that. Orcs, ogres, dwarves, gnomes... so many possibilities!
