Polemos' frills trembled in what appeared to be restrained anger for a second as the dragons took the bag of trinkets.

"Peaceful negotiations," he said in a monotone, though his frills were shaking with emotion and his voice was getting progressively louder. "Quite a path to take. Perhaps it will aid you. Perhaps not. Only time will tell because I can certainty say that-"

The fae stopped speaking and heaved a breath. His frills quieted, as did his voice.

"Your path is yours," he said, though his frills were shaking again, "though I cannot ensure your safety if you did come across those... beasts," he managed. "I would say you ought to fight them but... if peace is your way of doing this, so be it. I have nothing more to say to you."

With one finally piercing glare, he took to the skies, leaving the dragons below to find their way.

Cytherea glared at the retreating form of the fae. As a coatl, she could barely understand the laconic species of dragons, but there was no mistaking the piercing look he had given to them, nor the little speck of dust he had raised while taking off.

"Oh sweet Shadowbinder" she whispered "This is going to be the Starfall tour again, isn't it?"

She looked around, assessing her team. She didn't know any of them, although the green spiral had been nice to her during the choosing of the items. And she had some sense of fashion, something to work with. The spiral was currently acting the offended part, something Cytherea knew very well. She was a master of this game, and she grinned at the thought of another player.

"Darling" she said to the spiral "Don't worry. First of all we should find some food and water, I think. I brought some reserves with me, but they won't last for the entire journey."

The strange looking Skydancer, part of Shunic's clan, was there with them. Cytherea had seen how observant the other dragon was, so she addressed her quickly "Excuse me... Qualia? Do you mind doing a quick area assessment for any potential infection vectors?" she knew for a fact the skydancer would understand "We're only interested on the lethal or the crippling ones, right now."

She missed Aria. Both coatls had been together during the whole Observatory debacle, and Cytherea knew how the other dragon's mind worked. She had to get accostumed to her team.

"I wish Aria, Imeralis or Shunic were here" she said, quietly "They made an awesome team."

She sobered up and quickly scanned the area, looking for edible stuff. This was going to be a long journey.

Her thoughts momentarily went to her clan, some of whom delighted in being surprising. Qualia’s amusement swiftly vanished as they were left without further instruction. The Skydancer was, all the same, relieved to move away from the volatile sword group. Travelling with them would have been…a trial. She was not altogether pleased to see that Ridgeback from before, but maintained an apathetic expression. However, looking at the rest of the group, it looked like this one would be their muscle and weight. Although they were likely to attempt a peaceful route when possible, in all probability there would be…less negotiable dangers. It seemed Aria had headed into a different group. Cytherea, with whom Qualia had yet to speak, was with the current group though. It was with a rueful smile that the Skydancer responded to the Coatl, ‘not unfamiliar with such a circumstance, I believe? I can do that.’ Before finding a space to focus, Qualia addressed the group as a whole, ‘has anyone prior experience with this realm? One of us could fly upwards for a view of the direction we should begin in.’

Mirasol said suddenly, turning her head towards the rapidly departing Fae. She pushed her way past the Skydancer and the Imperial, taking the time to clap the Plague dragon on the back on her way. "Sorry, Goldilocks." The other dragons gathered around where the Fae had perched just moments before all seemed to be regarding each other - and her - with varying expressions and levels of enthusiasm. A Spiral she'd noticed earlier was remarking about refreshments and scouting, both of which sounded pretty good right about now. Mirasol couldn't help but notice that her group wasn't just small - the dragons in it could have all been shaded by her open wings if the sun had been brighter. So much for finding a dragon to hide behind. It seemed that would be her role, for once. She didn't quite know how to feel about that yet. She also wasn't sure how she felt about peaceful negotiations. Mirasol preferred fight or flight, not chit and chat, but she also knew that the fewer open wounds they were to suffer in this place the less likely they were to suffer some horrible disease. The rogue didn't even want to think about what sort of plague-ridden sludge she'd be forced to deal with over the course of this journey. Even so, the thought of the end goal intrigued her more than the threat of disease concerned her. Having the opportunity to plunder the hordes of a god? That was something no self respecting thief could pass up. Mirasol practically salivated at the thought. Whatever value such treasures could be worth...she could hardly imagine it. The Ridgeback placed herself firmly in the center of the small group, cleared her throat, and announced, "My name is Mirasol. "I'm Savras." Finally gathering his wits about him, Savras tied the bag of trinkets to his belt and returned to all fours. Gingerly, the tundra tiptoed to each of his fellow dragons in turn, giving them a quick smile and big ol' sniff. Sigh. Tundras. "We need supplies, yes? Medicines, food. Directions." he said to the group at large, his smile just a tad shaky. "A healing potion is... nice... but one healing potion isn't enough here, I don't think." He glanced where the dragons who'd made that choice had wandered off, as if wondering if he should have made that choice instead, but finally snapped his head back to the gathering. "Centaurs, Longneck!" Savras said suddenly, focusing on the task ahead. "We seek them, yes? Most likely to trade. Least likely to kill on sight." The tundra wandered in a little circle, stepping light and careful so as to not upset any further pustules that might spray them with deities-know-what. With each step, he craned his neck, sniffing at the air. "Dung, fur, smoke. Find, yes. Sniff it out." he explained what he was doing enthusiastically, wings flaring. Turning to his fellow tundra, Luiza, he beamed a smile more confident than his previous. "Help me, yes?" He turned to Sei, next. "Flowers!" he called to her. Sigh. Again, Tundras. "Flowers. Flowers. Yours have good eyes, best eyes." he told Sei happily. "Seek tracks, yes? Hoofprints." Turning suddenly away from the spiral, he bounded over to Qualia. "Yes. Yes, good idea, Crystal-feather." his said to her at her suggestion of scouting, head bobbing up and down comically as he nodded several times rapidly. "You go up, yes? Look for smoke. Look for huts." Pausing a moment, he flicked his fluffy tail to indicate the final two dragons, Cytherea and Mirasol. "You help Flowers and Crystal-feather, yes? Two and two and two. Good chances of finding something." He paused suddenly, his smile faltering just a tad. "But not too far. Safety in numbers, yes?" @Akal @Stanzascale @staticmcawesome @surfingpikachu @Vil

While looking for tracks, Cytherea decided to gather everything that didn't look too poisonous, thinking that they might be edible after all.
