Lore: "These Tundras came about when a young and naive Tundra assistant messed around with a concoction that was very unstable, leaving behind some fur strands as he was thrown out of the laboratory for incompetence.
The viles where left to fester until a scientist noticed that there were new colours forming in the slime. The viles were moved into large vats and monitored for months.
It was noted that there were moving globules in the slime. When stimulated, the globules moved as one away or towards the stimulate. Unfortunately, after many tests, the globules seemed to stop exhibiting intelligence and simply stopped moving, no matter the stimulant.
It was ordered that the vats be cleared out for more promising projects.
The slime was deemed non toxic and was dumped out near the Lighting Farm.
A traveller came across the slime many days later, though had the traveller known that it was indeed some odd concoction of science, they would have stayed far away but to the traveller, what the saw was a shimmering, shaky Tundra, walking like it had never done it before in its life time.
As the traveller approached and offered their help, they were shocked to find that the Tundra was not solid, it was in fact goo. A walking pile of Tundra shaped goo. The mock Tundra turned a wary eye to the dragon and collapsed into a pile.
The traveller continued to Tempest Spire to give word on their find. Scientist accompanied by guards followed the traveller to where they saw the Tundra. It was still there in a jiggly pile. They attempted to contain the pile but the goo moved with a mind of its own and slithered off deeper into the Shifting Expanse.
These 'dragons' are living piles of goo. They absorb large rocks and bones to aid themselves with tasks like walking and fighting, as they have no teeth of their own.
Babes are goo that has split from two other goo dragons and mixed together. These dragons can change their DNA by absorbing matter from carcasses. "

Lore: Hackers move through electric currents, though as their name implies, Hackers use their abilities for espionage, sabotage, and other aggressive, nefarious means. Because of their unique skillset, Hackers are often are employed as shock troops (pun absolutely intended). Some Hackers are more tricksters than malicious spirits, enjoying to cause machinery errors, shutdowns, overloads, or unexpected behaviour. Others are like ghosts, rarely if ever seen outside of the current, preferring the smooth logic of the binary world.

Lore: Introduction: The subspecies of Hydro or Hydrology dragons was a complete mishap in the name of science. Being dragons of lightning, science was their main goal- not controlling the water around the Carrion Canyon. However due to the arid desert, some dragons felt the need to combine efforts to not only get clean energy but also an endless source of drinking water. Many dragons obviously fell to this, wishing to make the Lightning Flight tame another element that wasn't theirs. Ego was mainly the problem, as a magical explosion backfired and many of the scientists found themselves with new coloring and a rather chaotic mass of unrefined magic.
Most of the Pearlcatchers found themselves with new glowing orbs with strange aquatic gems while Imperials seemed to have a conductivity that was unknown, flowing through either gembond stones or wavy smoke. Determined to figure out, understand, and use this to their technological advantage, they named themselves the Hydrology group and works to use water in any technical fashion possible. They welcome water-based dragons into their fold to enhance their knowledge- though they Hydrology subspecies is purely lightning based.
Origin:The subspecies is a group of several dragons that were part of the original experiment. With nine clans involved. These nine clans had Imperials, Pearlcatchers, and Skydancers at the head of the team. It was said that two of the clans had an agreement that any water energy harnessed whether magical or scientific would be presented to the Stormcatcher to show a different way to harness energy in an efficient manner. The sea to the east and south could be harnessed and could possibly net them more energy to work with beyond the lightning that rained down onto the spires themselves.
Energies however like this should be left to the deities themselves.
In a combination of an electricity overload and a magical enigma- many dragons in the area had their colors altered. Some gained gems dotting their skin that increased their own conductivity or smoke that could branch off their body and provide electricity. Impressed with their near-death experience and fortitude, the Hydrology Team was quickly whisked into using the sea around them to create drinking water for smaller flights, pure water for experiments, and the constant movement of more power for more experiments.
Two of the clans thankfully had fertile mothers - and they found themselves with younger Hydrology clan members who have now seen to find themselves at the front of a new era of energy manipulation. The Hydrology Team call themselves many names, but they wish to harness all energy at one point and have several teams working on Fire, Earth, Nature, and other ways to harness energy to reach all of Sornieth.
Behaviours and Habits: While each dragon is unique- it seems Hydrology Dragons have advanced knowledge of water with a seemingly unearthly intellect about energy from the start. Whether it's from the clans teaching their members from the start or natural instinct, one doesn't know.
Hydrology dragons were from the same Lab Team, not flight. Hydro Dragons are taught to share their work and almost have a nagging obsession with solving problems with the most logical solutions.
Hydro Dragons are quick to charge off each other due to extremely strong electrical fields surrounding their bodies. Enemies are more likely to die from electrocution than anything else. Smoke based dragons find themselves constantly sparking while Gembonded Dragons tend to be extreme conductors of electricity.
Hydrology dragons are usually able to function in all flights- but seem to have harder time in water flights due to their superconductivity.
Each Hydrology dragon is given an identification number to stay with them. It is to understand if the abilities given manipulate themselves and grow over time and record the data if needed
