Activity Note: At this time, I am no longer in Arcane. Another version of this guide will potentially be available later. Once it is, I will include a link for it here. Please do not ping me with questions about these subspecies. Thank you! ---------------------------------------------- Recently there has been a push for the research of subspecies found on the Starfall Isles. To keep track of these findings as they are made official, I have compiled a condensed guide. Each discoverer is pinged and their research notes are linked in as the subspecies’ name. I also attempted to include abbreviated descriptions of each subspecies’ lore. I am sharing this post with other flights because it seems there is a growing interest in interflight knowledge of the subspecies for each flight. If I have made any errors feel free to ping me here or message me. These subspecies (excluding CryMages) were all winners that were voted on from momo1013's contest found here. Intellectual dragons who have devoted their lives to assisting the Arcanist in studying the stars, Nebulite dragons begin to take on qualities making them resemble the distant galaxies. Due to their insatiable curiosity and drive to learn new things, some Nebulites have chosen to leave the Observatory to study their own planet more.

Arcane Nightmares are unstable dragons, affected by the Shade’s touch while still in their eggs.

I still have more of the examples to add but need to take a break from the computer. I'll hopefully have the last few done later today or tonight.

@TheMightyTor - Thanks for putting this up! Wasn't sure if you needed another reserved post or not, so I didn't want to post and break your flow. Lemme know if you need me to delete in case you'd like to reserve a few more posts.

@TheMightyTor

Wow! What a great list of Arcane's subspecies! I am personally thrilled to see this as I have Outliers, a hatchery where we specialize in subspecies dragons and I was having difficulty finding Arcane information except for CryMage. Now Arcane will be more fully represented in my hatchery!

Great job!

I am pleased to announce that the Arcane Subspecies Guide is fully up-to-date!

If you have a dragon that fits a subspecies category feel free to post it here as an example (please note genes/colors for others).

@Alazdriel I'm still not quite up-to-date on all the forum terminology so I'm not sure what you are asking me exactly.

@Serilda Thanks! I'm glad that you're finding it useful :)

@TheMightyTor - Oh, I meant if you wanted to reserve some extra posts. Usually when people make a topic they think will be long, or require different sections, they "reserve" posts in it, so they have extra posts after the first/opening post (OP) where they can write things. Like, if you check any hatchery topic, and it has multiple posts with pairs, hatchlings, etc? That kinda thing. So if you need a few extra posts, I can delete my last post so it doesn't break the flow, since you can't edit/remove other users' posts.

@Alazdriel AH! I never knew that was what that meant/were for. Thank you for explaining! And I think I should be ok with what I have. Thank you for asking me :)

@TheMighty Tor - Okay, cool. NP~

Also, I'm rather pleased to say I've some Smoke-Variant Mulberry/Shadow Mystic Breeders that are RTB. A couple of them still need circuit, but as far as coloration goes, they're totally up and ready.
