Sorry for the delay in getting this up, y'all! With fantastic timing, the power supply on my computer decided to quit on me the other day. |D But it's back up and running and the day's not over yet, so this is your reminder ping - today, March 4th, is a Lore Whining Day!

*slams hands on the table* WHO'S EXCITED FOR THE NEW LORE? Just a couple more days until March 6 when we'll be seeing new stories pop up in the latest announcement! I don't know how much of it (if any) will have any bearing on my lore, but official lore comes up so infrequently that it's always a nice bonus anyway, and now we're getting ten?! I can't wait to see what the admins have planned for it!

Personal goals for the day: kick real life's butt for kicking my butt lately and also figure out what the heck to do with my 5-digit boyo. I scattered him, got him a good scry, set up an outfit for him, gave him Cherub... but still no lore. |D Lore always sort of tends to come last for these things with me, hm.

@Illusions12 - aaaah, I missed this post in my alerts. D: You're plenty welcome to join in and at least give it a try! (And then whine about it if it gives you trouble, because hey, that's what this group is for! ovo We're no strangers to love lore woes ourselves, and plenty of people have decided to give it a go after finding this thread, so you're among friends!)

Lore is, at its most basic, writing out tidbits of whatever information you can think of - dragon personalities, how your clan is organized, what your lair looks like, who has what duties, that sort of thing! It's very much something you do however you want, as long/short or as simple/complex as you like. There's no set-in-stone rules for this sort of thing! (Except of course the site guidelines.)

I didn't ping you in the above post as I wasn't sure you wanted to be on the pinglist, but if you'd like to be added I can do that. c:

I almost forgot it's another Lore Whining Day again. I have missed so many for various reasons, lately due to university stuff, but I might start writing dragon lore again soon. And while I haven't written anything specific today, what I managed to do is finally add my bio base to all of my dragons - now I can just start writing anytime I feel like it. :3

I've done family stuff all day, so I don't have time to write today.

But since last LWD, I've written a bit for how Mint met his boyfriend and I've written about Hilda's past, thanks to some discussion in a Wildclaw share thread and a lore game :)

It's probably time to rewrite Flambebe's lore!

Today has been quite the mess for me, as well. Hope to get at least a few things wrapped up, though. My current goals are to finish Octavio's bio and Torchlight's QnA. I don't think I have time today to write, but regarding the Bounty of the Elements: I already have ideas for Pinkerlocke posts (for BOTH Pinkerlockes) about the event :D And it's happening during spring break so I should have time to write!
