Happy Starfall Celebration, everyone! In the midst of this month's fest excitement, I bring you your reminder ping: today, September 24, is a Lore Whining Day!

With the fest comes... perhaps a bunch of predictable prompts. XD Let's talk Arcane! Generic "what's your clan doing for the festival" question here I suppose, but also, does your clan have any delegated roles for Arcane-element dragons? Are there any dragons that fit more the canon nature of the flight (stargazers, dreamers, scholars, etc.), or do you perhaps have any Cthulus mysterious individuals from elsewhere that may or may not be horrorterrors in disguise? Do they use their space-y powers for good or for ill? Any explosions this week that your clan might need to worry about, or perhaps any falling meteors? Are there any concerns that those crystals on the new Starwood Veil might be radioactive, and what may or may not be happening to those wearing them? And most importantly, who's the dragon that just adores the squid???

Goals for myself: nONE because I have philosophy homework. Pity me. |D

Oh I totally forgot about this! Man, I've never actually thought about what the kingdom would do for each festival. I'm torn between it being a big kingdom wide celebration, simply because that seems a bit resource draining, or if it would just be arcane families who make a big deal out of it. I can say with certainty Brightshine would be a kingdom wide celebration, but I almost feel like the other fests would just be tiny celebrations by the families who originate from those regions. As for dragons that fit into the nature of the arcane, I only really have Ambrose, and his bio is old and outdated. When I update him (hey, maybe I'll do it today :p), I figure he'll kind of be like...hm, not really sure, honestly. I'm flipping between sort of a researcher/storyteller type role but I'm not sure!

As for goals for today, er...noooot...really sure. I don't have any dragons in particular I want to sink my teeth in to, but also I have homework that'll probably keep me quite busy so who knows!

I have DnD today but since it's Starfall, I should write about my Arcane subclan! By writing this here hopefully I'll actually remember to do it. orz

I've actually worked a little bit on my clan leader's lore since the 14th. She's making a brief appearance from hiding under her invisibility cloak so she can participate in the festival. [center][url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=33838540] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/338386/33838540_350.png[/img] [/url][/center] As for plans for today, I decided to convert the dragons I originally planned to make shade-touched to something else I'm calling Darkness Born, mostly because I didn't want to have to rewrite the lore for the shade as much as I would have had to otherwise. ^_^; So I'll probably be figuring out the lore and characteristics that go into that distinction and finishing up Sindar's lore.

Mmmmph, schoolwork. Maybe I'll get some lore done today as well, who knows - I do still need a story section for my Arcane rep about how he came to meet the Arcanist (especially interesting as he is a Nature dragon). [s]I'm actually training more fodder with my Ghostlight trainer now but shhhh don't tell Caleb that[/s] Okay, it's the Arcane festival, so I'll focus on my rep for now. I do actually have a horrorterror in disguise, but it's one of the few dragons around here that actually has relatively complete lore! I should really start fleshing out my dragons, but I gotta do so much work.... *sigh*
