Being among all the others is the hard part, but the call for adventure was too much for Alec to pass up! Being open and social with his fellow clan members was one thing, but looking around and seeing all the others makes him nervous. After listening to Conrad and Valena, Alec finds himself a nice quiet spot tucked off to the side. Having signed his waiver earlier, he freely looks around the cave [s]trying to avoid making eye contact with anyone[/s] as something catches his eye. Half listening to the others, Alec decided to go over and investigate the strange object.

He really only leaves camp during holidays such as these. Mortos is filling in for him in the office / operating room while Krova is out exploring. Instead of bringing his best buddy along, Krova has Somdel, his guard foo. Not only is she considered a guard foo, but also a therapy foo. Her job is to protect him and help him if anything goes wrong. She's figured out how to pick up on many things about Krova that most dragons can't. The only dragon who's as sensitive to his problems as Somdel is Mortos. Mortos has lived with Krova for years, known him since he hatched. It took many, many years for Mortos to become this sensitive. Anyway, Krova steps into the cave, Somdel in tow. She takes a good look around, having never been in a cave at all. She strays a little bit as Krova reads over and signs the waiver. Readjusting his bag and cleaver, he finds Somdel staring at a small glint farther into the cave. Out of curiosity, he cautiously approaches the object, Somdel ahead of him and sniffing the ground.

She was too excited about the tour to stand still for long, and was curious about anything that caught her eye.

She had been in enough caves before to know that each was unique, and it was only a matter of time before she saw this one's quirk. She saw the object and felt a spark of curiosity. She glanced at the tour guides before quickly making her way towards the object.

Clarity was tasked with spending time with the socialite and tending to diplomatic tasks while Fireclaw and Unknown were left to enjoy the events. The plan was that Fireclaw and Unknown were to go on this tour together, but after the long trek to The Shifting Expanse, an excessive amount of desserts and drinks plus a bit of roughhousing with a drunk cyborg ridgeback, Fireclaw wasn't quite up for a tour. Let's go, Gloomwillow.[/columns] *** Unknown arrives at the entrance of the cave to start the tour. He follows the rest of the tour-goers inside and waits for the guides to arrive. Once the guides arrive and they start to go through safety precautions and make a few late-comers sign their waivers, Unknown passes the time by studying the cave from the spot he's standing at. He suddenly notices something that seems buried in the sand at the entrance of the cave, but in order to take a look at it he would have to walk away from where he's standing. After some consideration, he decides that it's probably some tour-goers belongings or some innocent sand-dwelling creature and if it's not, he can always come back later to see what it was. This is a tour in a not-completely-abandoned cave, he doesn't need to be hyper-aware of his surroundings and study everything, that was the point of Clarity and Fireclaw convincing him to sign up: he need to learn to relax for a bit and trust others judgement, in this case, the seemingly overly-enthusiastic guides that apparently decided to map out the cave at the last minute. [item=Gloomwillow Guide]Gloomwillow notices that Unknown must have seen something strange and is slightly uncomfortable by being alone with a group of strangers, so they telepathically ask him if there's anything they can do to help. Unknown waves away his companion's concern in a reassured manner; the tour is now just about to start so there really isn't any time left to worry about this whole tour and what might be hidden at the cave entrance.[/center]

He loved coming back home to the Shifting Expanse, and he loved even more to participate in the Thundercrack Carnival. He listened intently to the tour guides and nodded his head along with everything they were saying. He truly was a great listener, and very attentive to every little detail. One could actually say, he was too attentive. Though his spotted a bit of glimmer in his peripheral vision, he wouldn't allow himself to look away from the guides for more than a couple of seconds.

The Thundercrack Carnivale was the holiday of his clan, so naturally the Stormchasers had stopped within its borders to help set it up. Giovanni still remembered the bright expression on his matriarch's face when she demanded everyone take a vacation and enjoy themselves. It was only there for a split second before Roc too dashed in some off direction to enjoy her holiday. The garnet dragon chuckled at the memory. Giovanni felt a scaly beast climb his hide and rest in between his shoulders, sighing in contentment as they took an odd turn towards the caverns being showcased in this tour. Levias was not bonded to him like it was to Nils, but they still held a fondness for the Gondolier. "Good to see you behaving. I pray you'll be like this the whole tour? We can't have you getting lost or hurt when we are supposed to enjoy ourselves." The Goblin nodded firmly, hugging Giovanni's neck as if to demonstrate their agreement. He could only hope they kept their word. THe Skydancer knew Levitos like the back of his claws, not these cliffside caves. The duo approached just in time for Conrad and Valena to introduce themselves. And before the tour truly began... he felt the Goblin shift on his back. He knew where this was going. Levias quickly hopped off and ran in the same direction as several other curious peoples. "Levias, wait! I thought we had an agreement!" But not Coal. Caves are practically his passion. Though, it would have been perferable if it were just him and his familiar exploring, but, hey, at least others are getting in on the fun as well. Something caught Coal's eye, as well as some other dragons' eyes from the look of it. Though exploration and discovery excites him, he knows the dangers of abandoning caution and going on with abandoned. He'll wait until the tour begins, even if he has to stand through the Ridgeback's... enthusiasm.
