Everyone is welcome! If you are joining later in the week check the top of the post to get all caught up! What a CYOA? It means "Choose Your Own Adventure"! It's a game where you a new bit of story is introduced every day, and you have to choose what your dragon/adventurer will do. We are submitting choices through google forms this time. You are welcome to join any time! At the end of the week, there will be a raffle for all the participants. You can earn three tickets per day, two by entering your choice in the google form the other by making a post in the forum about how your dragon is feeling/thinking (Role Playing basically.) You can't earn tickets for days you missed, even if you fill out the form later. You can get the current day's tickets, though! Please read through the rules in the second post, and feel free to check out the raffle prizes in the third post.

In the last CYOA I hosted, I felt like I got to know lot of people's dragon, and I really liked that. It doesn't need to be long. If you can only think of 1-2 sentences, that's perfectly fine. You enter the cave and there are multiple other dragons milling about in the large space. There is a sign saying ‘Wait Here’, preventing others from going deeper into the cavern. You turn back to look the way you came in, and see the vast expanse of ocean stretching out to the horizon. It’s mercifully cool in the cavern. You head deeper in, lightly kicking the sand that coats the floor. You settle down to wait for the tour to start. Right on time, two dragons emerge from deeper in the cave. “HELLO, MUFFINS! ARE YOU READY TO WORK OFF ALL THAT DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS ICE CREAM YOU’VER BEEN EATING??? I KNOW I AM!! AHAHA!!” One of the dragons is a Ridgeback. He’s very… enthusiastic. “The name is Conrad! I’ll be one of your tour guides today!” “And my name is Valena,” a snapper comes forward. She’s a lot quieter but just as intense. “This tour has been made especially for Thundercrack Carnival. The cavern network is out of the way and a bit... well, abandoned. Conrad and I have been exploring it quite a bit, and there are a lot of interesting geological formations as well as very beautiful sights.” “THIS TOUR REQUIRES YOU TO WALK FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME! If you don’t think you can do that, then this may not be the event for you. If you only ithink/i that you don’t think that you can do that, then come along anyway! I’ll carry you if you get tired! Also, Dulce de Aventura requires all participants to sign a waiver. It's not that she's alone in her work--the Stupid Horse Clan has any number of seasoned engineers, scientists, and programmers to keep things up and running. However, it seems like for every engineer, there's an out of control machine army, for every scientist, there's an explosion to clean up, and for every programmer, there's two hackers and an enraged AI wreaking havoc. Rather, she's the only one whose work is so ordinary that it doesn't become entwined in Events, and that's its own kind of miraculous. She and her familiar Quark keep things running in a patient, uninteresting way to keep the lights on for the stage show. Summers, though, tend to run lazy. With so many winter dragons keeping the lair cool, air conditioning isn't a problem, and even intrigue wilts in the heat. Genny's a Lightning girl at heart, and at the end of July, she and Quark venture out to celebrate Thundercrack Carnivale, again in their own quiet, patient way. They've mainly hit souvenir stands and food carts so far (they're both sporting oversized novelty sunglasses and Genny has several bags of trinkets and snacks slung over her shoulders), but a walking tour sounds like just the way to spend a few hours. Quark notices the item before Genny does, and growls balefully. She considers it, then shakes her head slowly. "Bad things happen to bears who stick their noses in shiny objects. Do you want a snack?" A baggie of goldfish--not the popular fish-shaped cracker, but rather actual goldfish, iced as a warm-weather treat--is produced, and Quark returns, mollified, to paw through it. Genny looks around at the other tourists and shakes a bag of trail mix. "GORP, anyone?"
