I've been an avid Flight Rising player for years now and come September 13th, I'll have reached the ripe old age of three years on-site! I have no plans for a mass hatch or something else to splurge my gems on, but I have this idea that I've been wrestling with for months and I finally want to go for it. It's finally time to have a quest to end all quests and search for every last item I want to collect on FR! Join me, if you like, I'll bring tea and cakes for everyone! My plans for this quest consist of four categories and I will do my best to complete them in order of significance to me. However, that's not to say a few extra gems and treasure won't go to causes out of order. Here's the list of groups in order of personal importance to me! • Familiars • Apparel • Dragon Goals • Skins and Accents [size=4][u]How this quest will go down:[/u][/size] • I will have a primary goal listed in the next post and the steps I've taken to attain it. I plan to make a progress post at the end of each week with all progress listed in within! • If a pinglist is made in the future, it will also be found in this post for easy access! • 70% of all my profits will go directly to my current goal while the other 30% will be reserved for impulse buys and events. Can't have all work and no play after all. • If all goes well and notn gives its blessings, hopefully I can be mostly done with the big two first tasks by this time next year. Of course I'm always hoping to make progress faster though! • I will be actively questing and checking the Items for Sale forum and PMs in case anyone wants to trade. [center][size=5][b]Familiar Goals[/b][/size][/center] While I truly want a full bestiary, I know the KS items and Boolean won't just be annoying, but they won't be fun. My plan is to complete my bestiary save for those familiars, starting with the last sprites I need! [b]As of May 9th 2020[/b], All retired familiars in this quest have been collected. So I will just link to my familiar spreadsheet rather than list all the familiars and extend the first page further. [center][size=5][b]Apparel Goals[/b][/size][/center] To be honest, I'm absolutely enamored by old fest apparel. The sashes, crowns, armbands... I just think they're neat! That's why I collected them all as a priority but now that I have everything except the armbands, it's time to get the last few pieces of miscellaneous items that I quite love, that aren't fest items!. [center][size=5][b]Dragon Progress Goals[/b][/size][/center] While I rarely buy new dragons, I still have several projects that need to be completed with genes and the like! It's never an easy task to balance everything out but with my system hopefully things will come to a close much sooner than usual! I'm not the biggest Skin/Accent fan. HOWEVER, I am a very very big fan of pearlcatchers. I always wanted to collect every single Pearlcatcher fest skin, perhaps a few more that catch my eye in the AH! I'll just list the ones I want here. This is more of a funner quest and not the biggest focus in my goals. Would be lovely to get them all though.

[center][size=5][b]Update 13/9/2019 [/b][/size][/center] I decided against an update last week because firstly... I totally forgot. And secondly, the quest started a bit in the middle of the week and a post so soon would have been strange. To me at least. So, here we go! Since school started up it's been a little bit slow but in the past few days, there's been a bit of progress~ I was actually gifted both [item=golem gauntlet] and [item=electricians armband] but last time I mentioned their name everyone went swarming to them and I felt bad ;; So they will remain anonymous. Nevertheless though, thank you so so much! We're pushing this week and Drakeharvest started so I've been exalting like a maddragon and absolutely didn't follow my own rules for 70-30 splitting of profits. HOWEVER, I made a lot of progress goals-wise~ My Gaoler breeding pair was all gened in one go and now we have the lovely Pyotr and Ilyich in all their glory! (tell me if you get the reference hehe). I hope to get it by the end of drakeharvest if all goes well. And then I'm going onto the lightning sprite simply because it was the sprite of my very first flight. Second, I just want to say that this is such a great way of saving money! The 70/30 system is so much easier (and more fun) than saving everything!

@myriadofstars no its totally alright to post! I made my reserves and everything is where it belongs <3 I tried the full savings system for my light sprite quest and let me tell you, it was absolutely awful saving up. i was upset half the time because nice things were coming out and I banned myself from buying, but this is better and more managable I think! I'll add you to the weekly pinglist right away, sorry i didn't see the message earlier I seemed to have forgotten to sub to my own thread? but that's done now~ And I don't mind you trying a similar quest, I find it fun and motivating having a thread to follow and update with progress to really see how far you've come.
