@alexyay My plant isn't bluegreen or white. I was just matching the colors to the harpies. Mine is green with some red threaded through the stems. Pretty standard little guy!

I got a 75 gallon tank, and am aiming for a lush, completely carpeted/planted tank 6 months down the line. Right now it's a bit sparse, but I'm hopeful that the plants will start to grow out and overtake things. I got 4 plant lights mounted above it to provide a high level of lighting, and am using flourish comprehensive to fertilize them. (along with 5 swordtails I'm using to cycle the tank; they're pooping like crazy >.>; I think they're somehow eating the surface off my driftwood, because i'm not feeding them enough for all the waste they're producing.)

I want my tank to look similar to this in the end, though I'm not sure how far I'll be able to go without CO2 injection. Note: Not my tank, just the environment I'm going for.

@JacquieK Seafood, plants, and insects are goign to be seen a lot more. Most coliseum drops currently pull from our items used in the gathering system. Because monsters tend to be mostly meaty things, the meat table got pulled pretty hard.

With the new, coliseum-exclusive drops, we're able to better customize our loot tables. Colors, patterns, and location are being used to help us to make themed items in other food types. For example, the harpies are not made of plants, but those new plant items look a lot like the feathers of the harpy, and pull from the same color scheme. :)

@Rhea The bugs are made up, though their shape reminds me (very loosely) of stink bugs. The shells are based off of aquarium snails, and the harpy plants are based off of some sort of sword plant that's currently in my aquarium. (I may have gotten an aquarium in the last two week >.>; I can't stop looking at it!) The gyre fruits are based off peaches, though it's sorta hard to see because the smoke obscures much of the shape.

I like how when I add something, it gets noticed within 10 minutes every time. :)

*is currently going through coliseum loot tables* A lot of the enemies had non-exclusive items or their most commonly dropped item was 30% chance; this resulted in a lot of lootless battles. Scorched forest is particularly bad for it, so they got two high-percentage (70-80%) drops early.

I'll be working on roost for the rest of the night though. ^_^

If you're getting a lot of repeat chests, I'd suggest farming a different area. Each shadow enemy has a chance of dropping 2/5 chests. Each neutral enemy can only drop one chest type.

If you're farming exclusively in one area, you might not have all the chest types available to you, which is why you're not getting them. It could also be RNG too though. :)

@Sheriru, Chrome is your best option for Coliseum at this time. Firefox and Flight Rising don't always get along, it's something we're looking into .

Thank you for the positive feedback; we're glad things are performing better!

Last night we found something interesting that was probably a big cause in backing up the coliseum and rest of the site. The more the coliseum was used, the worse it got, but it should be corrected now.

That being said, while we did solve a pretty moderate problem, there's still a lot of work to be done around the site before we'll be done with optimizations. But last night's change should help us to be operating at a much more acceptable speed during festivals. :)

We were having some performance problems yesterday that we believe to be resolved; definitely doesn't have anything to do with chests, though. Thanks for the report, and let us know if you see anything else that looks strange!

Pinecone drop rates have not been altered and match all previous holidays. Sorry 'bout the bad luck; I'm sure it'll pick up!
