She was always fond of her big brother Amyas. She loved all of her siblings, but ever since hatching, she had been naturally drawn to him. As a tiny young mirror pup Wisteria would follow him around all day long, watching everything he did with wide, curious eyes. She’d tackle him or pounce on his tail when he wasn’t looking, trying to goad him into a game of chase. At night, she’d sometimes sneak from her parents’ den to plop onto Amyas, curling up on his head or under his wing. Adventurous as she was, though, Wisteria began to be drawn outside the clan’s borders as she neared adolescence. She more announced to Basic and Conch that she was setting off one day; she had always been a stubborn, determined lass, her mind always made up on exactly what she wanted to do. There wasn’t much Conch could do to stop her, and so she was seen off with the same pride yet loving worry that Conch’s babies always were, sent to a clan where some of Conch’s descendants were already safely living, where she knew that Wisteria would at least be safe under the wing of her strong cousins Asu and Autumnheart. Wisteria settled in nicely, yet her sense of the supernatural always led her on late-night adventures and ghost hunts. On one such venture she stumbled upon an odd, battered chest in the misty twilight, which she opened without a moment’s thought. Immediately a strange fog surrounded her, enveloping her until she couldn’t see her own claws. When it cleared, she saw that her smooth mirror skin had been replaced with tough, rigid scales, her crests gone in favour of an impressive crown of horns. Her wings felt larger as well, and even though her body seemed bulkier, it felt somehow lighter than ever. Fascinated by this change, she set off to hunt for more of these strange chests and other supernatural treasures as often as she could, and proudly maintains a hoard of all the definitely-not-haunted trinkets she uncovers.  For the first time, Conch hadn't even been aware that she was carrying. It wasn't until the day prior to the laying that she realised. Basic was as stunned as she was, but they both took it as a good sign, an indication of her strength that she hadn't felt the changes within her. Three eggs arrived and began to hatch far earlier than they had ever expected. This was cause for concern - would they be weak or sickly if they emerged prematurely? Thankfully, these three young sisters came forth with nothing but energy. Two Mirrors and... the first to hatch, and the strongest, toddled up on her hind legs. Basic noted her forelimbs were underdeveloped, but as the days passed and she grew bigger it appeared that she was a Wildclaw. The breed of Nature. Upon arrival to the Lumiera Kingdom Amyas was promptly tackled by his sister Wisteria. When they'd picked themselves up out of the snow, he noticed their little brother Elwyn had come to meet him too. He'd already grown so big since he left Meristema! They eagerly introduced him to the clan where he met Sunset. Amyas told him all about his brother's business, crafting pots and trinkets, and the love he'd found in one of the clan's first sons. He was certain they would have made a gift for him to bring Sunset if they'd known he was visiting his home. Amyas knew he'd need to tell Petiolare how his precious daughter, Autumnheart was flourishing. He met Lumi, Jasmine and her daughter, Heather and Amour, but spent most of his time during the visit with his siblings. He hadn't realised how much he'd missed them. Another sister, Nerine, lived close by and Wisteria and Elwyn went with him to visit the Sierra Kingdom to see her. Autumnheart joined them to see her brother Loam. Both Loam and Nerine were terribly excited by the additional guests, before Loam fretted that he needed more cake to go around. Once he finally emerged from the kitchen, all agreed that his hot spring baked cake was divine. Amyas stayed two days, reluctant to leave his siblings and not looking forward to his next large stretch of uninterrupted flight across the sea. A letter from Rose: A small Shardback Slink skitters through the clan and to Wisteria. It had a little sack on it's back and when they found Wisteria they pulled out a rolled scroll and held it up to her like a lil otter holding up a rock. Once she took it they skittered off. The scroll was sealed with a wax seal of a cherry blossom. ”Momma! Momma! There's been so much going on since I left home! I found my way to the Light flight where I was saved by this super awesome and beautiful Imperial! I managed to sneak my way into a Harpy's roost where I found an egg! I snatched the egg and bolted. It was from our own flight and I couldn't just leave it there. I had no idea what they were gunna do it with. Anyways! I was running for my life with this small little Ice egg in my pack. There was a whole flock of Harpies chasing me and I thought they were going to catch me until miss Desecration came out of no where and fought them to save me! She took on like twenty Harpies .. ok maybe it was more like three but it was still impressive! She so easily defeated the Harpies! She was so cool! I begged her to take me with her and she did! Without a word she pulled me up onto her back and took me back to a small camp. I met other the others in her group and they were quick to accept me! Winaesh took really good care of me and the lil egg. She seems to be the caretaker. She says her charge is the group itself whoever is in it. They allowed me to keep it and even helped me make a nest for it! I love my little egg so much. Miss Desecration took me under her wing and has started to teach me how to fight! She says that I gotta learn how to protect my hatchling when my egg hatches. She also says that I gotta earn my keep by helping to gather food and supplies. We're such a small group and we have such a big task ahead of us. The group that I'm with now are Shade hunters so I really gotta learn to fight fast. I want to repay my debt to miss Desecration. I will earn my keep and make you proud. I was scared to leave but I'm glad I did. I've found a great new family to settle down with. I'm gunna learn to fight and protect my new family.
