Suggestions

Once again voicing my support for something to be done about the captchas. :’| I just got this yesterday: [img]https://i.ibb.co/nCQZL3y/5-D50-D891-0-C0-C-464-D-9-F42-01-B7-B9-D7-CF2-F.jpg[/img] Green female Ridgeback on the near identically-coloured pinwheel on the right. This is just ridiculous! I know we need captchas to stop bots, but please don’t use such busy backgrounds, and [b]please[/b] make the dragons stand out more! A bright dragon on a simple dark background, or a dark dragon on a simple light background- something to make the dragons actually visible. There is absolutely no need to make the dragons camouflaged into the backgrounds, and also no need to use the most crowded, colourful images possible for the backgrounds. I know you can’t use solid backgrounds because of bots, but even a simple drawing like a plain beach or a cloudy sky would be better than this.

I just got two in a row. I guess the first one was too obvious so it made me do it again.

Just got another ridiculous captcha, one featuring a green pearlcatcher overlaid on some green plants. They were almost the same colour (wish I remembered to screenshot).

We really need to do something about this.

The captcha system NEEDS changing. The current one is not user friendly, especially the visually impaired and colour blind people. And something else that needs changing is the frequency. I will frequently get three in a row before the first battle starts. And that three in a row isn't because I clicked incorrectly. You will get two or three in a row even if you choose correctly. It's ridiculous.

Anyone with eyeballs have a hard time doing the captchas. This was a conplaint when the coli was in its rewrite beta and yet nothing was done. They shoved the captchas out and have yet to do anything on it, genuinely making me wonder if they care about it at all anymore.

Support. I mainly grind on mobile due to faster load times and accessibility, but how tiny the captchas are and the fact that so many dragons are [i]purposefully[/i] camouflaged into the background has almost driven me to want to grind on the PC-- if only my computer would even run the darn thing over 2 fps. Plus the fact that it's been stated that Google's reCAPTCHA is free to use and fully customizable. Really, aside from pride or blatant disregard for the integrity of the site, why [i]wouldn't[/i] you use it?

Just as long as they don't have a ton of dragons buried under clothing, I like Amut's mock up.

As suggested earlier in this thread, maybe the system could just pull exalted dragons, that way we don't have to deal with dragons buried in clothing. It would give a feel that exalted dragons are serving the deity in a way too.
