The thing with Andy’s tail is that it can’t be regenerated, and it’s there as a counterbalance for her crest when she’s flying (that’s why it’s so long)

Or the fact her diablos has a slightly f*cked up horn (yes the horns regrow for that species, but it's never the same/'right' and the horns are important for breeding... So kinda similar?) Not to mention magical healing being a thing that exists that could just slap a tail back on...

Avo has physicsl abilities Mathew does not. He'd be able to see if Avo was lying about not attacking him and would be okay at detecting an ambush. But in an actual fight? Mathew is weak, a middle-aged man. He'd probably lose

So Avo can defeat at least one opponent? Maybe he isn’t so useless after all
