Deep under the ground is where we reside, in a lab made of cold metal that wreaks of disinfectant and blood. The passing seasons mean nothing to us and those who claim to watch over us. They say that they are doing something good, something that will help us in the long run but our blooming skin says otherwise. Anyone can grow flowers but no one should be forced to use their own flesh as soil. We will wait patiently until these plants wilt, wait until we become as powerful as our namesakes, wait until this lab is no more. But until then...
